Adorable place with amazing views. Absolutely recommend and looking forward to coming back.

First of all this is not in Murphy’s. This is 20 minutes outside Murphy’s. Second, while this cabin may have beds for 6 people, we would not recommend it for any more than four (including dogs). We were disappointed by the cleaning before our arrival. There was food in the bottom of the fridge and freezer, and the floor was dirty, too.

We love this place! It’s the 2nd time we’ve been here with our dogs. It’s safe for them on the raised & enclosed deck. Hubby loves the AC and the quietness of the area. Close enough to Murphys if you want to mosey downtown. It’s cozy and quiet and comfortable. We plan to return next year!

What a fantastic place! Super clean, beautifully remodeled, completely stocked with every amenity you might need, awesome deck, amazing sunsets... Excellent location if you enjoy sweeping panoramic views, no next-door neighbors, and don't mind a 10-minute drive into town along a back country road.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Murphys Hideaway. Even though the temps outside were in the high 90's-100, we stayed cool inside with the AC. The mornings on the back deck with my coffee & book were heavenly! The evenings on the deck seeing the night sky was incredible! I forgot how it is to see all of those stars! It is out of town and very quiet. If you are looking to getaway from it all, this is the place. The ride into town is about 18 minutes so if you are looking for something in Murphys proper this is not the place for you. We loved being away from it all. The communication with the host was great. The place was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall, nice stay and very responsive owners. Very pretty location, feels isolated, but close to town. We had extreme heat, however, and it didn't get quite as cool as we would like in the downstairs bedroom--probably be fine even in normal heat Not fancy, but nice and cozy.

Just a lovely home away from home. The enclosed & raised deck was exactly what we needed for the dogs. The AC was fantastic and well needed for the 100°+ temps. Kitchen & bathrooms are well stocked quite clean. Beds are comfy and outdoor seating are cozy. We definitely plan on returning next year. Road coming up here is PAVED, just a bit patchy in some spots. Quiet and cozy, just exactly what we needed. Owner is very quick to respond, even with an unexpected small snag that resolved itself in a timely manner.

We wanted a place that we could just relax and was quiet and This was the place plus it has great views and all the comforts of home we needed

Murphy's Hideaway was such a relaxing and restful place. I went there by myself with my little dog to relax and recharge. It was perfect. Off the beaten path for sure and so quiet. No traffic; just the birds and that great view off the deck. The kitchen was very well stocked. There were thoughtful touches like a basket of trail mix and granola bars near the door to grab on your way out for your daily activities and water bottles in the fridge. There were even extra dog bowls in the mud room for the pets. I had no lack of anything at the cabin and hope to return again soon! As previous reviews may mention, the road out to the place is definitely rural. I'm not from an urban area at all and drive country roads all the time, but I was thinking much of the time that surely I was on some back forest road that my GPS mistakenly routed me to and that I couldn't be on the real road. Turns out I was on the right road, so don't be alarmed if you think you took a wrong turn! But the remoteness of the road is what helped make the property so peaceful!
