The house needs TLC. Older house in front of the ocean starting to show its age. Pool area needs updates. Need curtains in the bathrooms. TV control remotes needs labels to know what they control. But overall the house provides an opportunity to create great memories. I would stay again.
House was good. It was out dated though. Out side decks and pool are falling apart. Also sliding glass doors for the most part didn’t work. Movie room tv didn’t work unless you had a Netflix account. Other then those things location was great and I had a good time spending time with family and friends.
The house was very well represented online. Incredible sunrises! Small issue with shower and one quick call and a very pleasant repairman was there very quickly. Very impressed!
Vacasa’s response of “You should have told us about the problems,” or blame the renter, to the previous reviewer says everything about the ethics and customer service policies of this company. This property should be removed from your inventory until major improvements are made, inside and out. Just some examples: We were greeted with a FULL load of dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Toilet seat in master bedroom bed room was broken completely off the toilet and placed under the sink. Bed post broken on one bed. Pool heater was not working. Fireplace not functional – gas line cut and crimped shut. Two broken windows in main living area and taped up with shipping tape. Outdoor shower consisted of a rusted pipe with the broken shower head on the floor. Shower was used as a storage area for rusted and broken screens that had fallen off house. Hot tub cover was severely rotted and ripped so the Styrofoam was exposed. Broken pieces of Styrofoam were floating in the tub. Cover was so waterlogged that it weighed at least 150 pounds and nearly impossible to remove from the hot tub. Cushion on main couch broken completely off. Rips in furniture and carpet. Two TV’s not working. Several lights and/or switches not working, including beautiful chandelier in main area. I will stop here. In a nutshell, this home is in need of major maintenance inside and out. I have pictures and will be happy to share them. We paid over $6,000 to rent this 2+ million dollar home and we feel we have a right to expect much better!
Stayed at this home for 3 nights. House really getting dated and has lots of neglected maintenance issues as well and several pest in home. My company planned to rent this same exact house again later in year but after staying we will find another house.
Clean interior. Great location. Nice views. We reserved this specific location for its heated pool only to find it inoperable, and could only use the pool for 1 day after the sunshine had warmed it enough. Missing random light bulbs and tv remotes with dangling/disconnected cable cords, filthy exterior windows, sparsely furnished kitchenware, empty grill tank, missing half of the window and door screens, broken sliding door handles. popping nails/screws in deck flooring. Nearly impossible to contact local property representative to address issues. Will NOT book this property again, nor use the listing company.
While the location and size were good, the overall impression was tired. This property needs a lot of attention. Light bulbs, leaking faucets, hardly any glassware. Especially wine glasses! TV's in the bedrooms were not connected to wifi or a cable box. This is a very stripped down home in minor disrepair.
Great place. There should be curtains on the bathroom near the kitchen. In the bedroom with king bed 3rd floor bathroom, the hot water at the sink leaks.
