Property was great, clean and well supplied. We had a lot of rain the weekend we went so we were not able to use the fenced in backyard for our dog as I hoped but nice to have the space to let her out with shortened walks due to the rain.

Perfect getaway for girls weekend! Close to Wharton Center and pickle ball courts. The home was cute, clean and welcoming!

The home was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed and our pup loved having a yard to roam. We’d definitely come back to stay!

I chose this place because of how clean everyone said it was. We got there and it was not clean. The cupboards were dirty. The fridge was dirty. The freezer was dirty. We had to wash pans, silverware, and dishes before we used them because they all had food on them. The floors were not vacuumed or swept. There was hair everywhere. I’m assuming Dog. Hair on my daughter‘s pillow hair on the comforters. The door knob to our room was incredibly sticky. Which grossed us out. Dog mud prints on the out side door.Sadly, when mentioning just the fridge and freezer all I got was an excuse that they have a new cleaning company and an apology. I simply said ok. But they should have done more. It was the only reason I chose this house over dozens. Because so many said it was clean. They did not even try to remedy the problem. We paid for a clean home. If it’s not clean. Do something. Get someone there to clean it or give a few bucks back. When I asked how to get heat upstairs where we were sleeping and it was cold. They never answered my question.I stay at short term rentals several times a year. And I have for several years. This is the first time I’m leaving less than a five star. And believe me there’s been a few issues. But they’ve always been taken care of. This is the first time it seemed like the owner didn’t really have too much concern. Besides this. It’s a decent location. And an old house but quaint.

Adorable home, comfortable beds, pillows and bedding. Plenty of room and while not used during our stay, a fenced backyard, a dish for dog food and a spare leash.

We had a terrific experience! We stayed in this home for about a week with our two dogs, and it was perfect. The house was very clean and cozy, with all the amenities we could have hoped for and then some. The back yard was perfect for playing with our dogs, and the nearby park was an excellent destination for our walks. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and cute, and the neighbors are friendly. The owner was super nice and responsive. We couldn't have asked for more!

We enjoy staying at this property every year for our annual horse shows at MSU! It is so close and convenient to the university!

We had a wonderful stay here over the weekend. It was great being able to bring our dogs with us. The host responded very quickly to all questions. The house is charming, clean and comfortable. There are games provided and a cute coffee bar! Everything we needed to cook a meal was there as well. The yard was great, tall fence...we have a Great Dane, so this was a big plus! All in all, 5 stars across the board. If available for a future visit we will definitely book here again!

Very clean home, most all kitchen supplies you’d need provided. No issues aside from some of the door handles being a little difficult to work.

Our family has stayed here a couple times, we love it because se we can bring our dogs. Everything is always perfect, super clean and so comfortable. It’s located in a cool neighborhood, walking distance to the Grand River where you find nice parks and good fishing. Good vibes all around, friendly host that’s always available, just a great stay. Grateful we found this location, we will definitely return soon.

I was very happy with this place. It was clean and had charm. The beds and pillows were great. There were charging areas in every bedroom. The fenced in yard was great for our dogs. They even had a pooper scooper and bags to clean up. The neighborhood felt safe. They have hotel towels which were super nice. They only thing i had trouble which was the front lock is a little tricky to get in. My husband had to help lol.

The house is very pleasant with an off street parking space. The host was quick to respond when I couldnt find bathroom towels - the linen closet was hiding behind the open bathroom door, that's on me.

Beautiful home with lots of charm that was perfect for our trip to MSU campus. Jaime was very responsive with communication. Pictures were correct in the portrayal of home. We would absolutely stay here again.

Easy access to downtown and to MSU campus. House was in good condition and accurately reflected the description. Everything went very well. We weren't in the house much to comment more. Would stay there again.

Perfect stay in a nice older home! Easy commute to MSU campus. Listing was as described and street was quiet. Jamie was quick to respond to questions and very helpful when we needed to modify our trip dates. Having a fenced in yard was huge for bringing our dogs. Would definitely stay again.

We rented the property for 4 weeks. Needed a property with a fenced in backyard that would accommodate our 2 dogs. Although the home was older, it was well maintained. The neighbors were friendly. The property manager was excellent with managing the check-in process and was available and prompt in responding to questions. Enjoyed our stay!!!

I really enjoyed the house it has old charm and lots of character. There was plenty of space for me and my friends to hang out and relax after long days at a conference.

We love Michigan and we travel North frequently. We decided to stay and visit the capitol- as we travel all over the country. This once was clean, comfortable, and convenient! Communication and check in was seamless and the area was nice too. I would love to stay here again! The fenced backyard was perfect for our dog and a nice place for us to enjoy the weather too.

This was a great rental for a long weekend in Lansing. House is cute and original features were great. Even though it’s close to a busy street, the house was quiet. Appreciate that each bedroom presents a different sleeping option as far as mattress firmness preference. Easy check in and check out and the fenced backyard made traveling with our dogs so easy.

My husband & I are from TN, we were in town for Christmas with family, we also brought our 2 golden doodles along. Being from Lansing I kinda knew where the house was, perfect location from everyone we were seeing! That was huge for us. The house, beautiful older home amazing woodwork and very clean! Lots of room..another plus! The beautiful wood floors and the fireplace were wonderful so much character in this house.. very cozy feel to it. The back yard was perfect for our dogs!Jamie was so friendly & easy to contact so quick to respond. Would definitely stay again when back in town and would definitely recommend to others.

This property is delightful! It was the perfect size for the three of us, allowing us to have our own sleeping space. The kitchen was well equipped for us to have breakfast and coffee both mornings and eat in one night. We were within 15 minutes of all of our activities and the parking at the house easily accommodated our two vehicles. The house was clean, cozy, and comfortable. And our host was easy to communicate with, while the check in and check out process was very easy. Would absolutely stay here again if I needed a place in Lansing.

A lovely old house, very clean, well stocked. The bed is comfortable, the linens smell divine. Conveniently located by a park and the river walk, for those bringing dogs. Be aware that, because it is an old house, the floors are VERY loud. This was not a problem for just the two of us, but I imagine it could be an issue if you had a bunch of people on different schedules. Also the checkout time has little wiggle room, even if nobody is renting right after, so make sure that will work for you. Overall a very lovely stay!

Super conveniently located. Nice house, with large bedrooms. 1/2 bath is small for tall people but nice to have with a family of 4. Had everything we needed and well stocked for longer stays. Dogs loved the fenced backyard and doggie door! Will stay here next visit.

My family loved this house! It wasn't cluttered, and was a verys erene space. A nice, quiet neighborhood, our dog loved the yard, the beds were comfortable, and the kids loved the deep tub! The only downside was the upstairs TV didn't appear to be a smart TV and the downstairs TV had a significant lag when using the streaming capabilities. Overall though we loved it!

A short trip to Lansing with a small dog who barks too much to stay on a hotel. This property was perfect. A lovely 1920s house in wonderful condition. A nice walkable neighborhood close to a park on the river. 10 minutes from the university campus. We are now trying to find reasons to go back there again.

Very cute house in a great central location in Lansing. Great for the five adults we had in our party. Parking was very easy.

Solid place to stay for MSU football game

We had to head up to Lansing for a soccer tournament and this was a great location. Cute little house, perfect for our family of 4.

Clean, ready for check in, nice backyard

Our daughter goes to MSU, so we booked this location for the weekend since the Spartan game was Friday night and we wanted to make the most of the weekend while there. It’s located in a quaint historic neighborhood not more than 10 minutes from campus. It was perfect for us because we could bring our dogs and cook our own meals, the Grand River is a couple blocks away so my son and I were able to go fishing whenever we liked. The neighbors were super friendly, a great mixture of cool restaurants and coffee shops in the area, the overall vibe chill and peaceful. The host was very responsive and friendly, while the house was very nicely furnished, updated and clean.We will definitely try to stay here again when we come back out, we loved our stay.

I liked that it was close to every store and mainly to the university.

Slight mix up in preparing the property for our arrival but responsiveness of the owner and property manager was superb. Our 2nd stay at this property and will be booking in the future.

House was perfect for our needs. The yard was great for the dogs. Well lit in the evening as well. The house was comfortable and clean. The host responded super promptly when a neighbor's dog got into the yard. They were adding in better fencing the day we left.
