Stayed Jan 30, 2026The host was very welcoming and very communicative! The views were astonishing and I wish I could’ve stayed longer. Beautiful, clean house with nice touches throughout. Beds were so comfortable and high quality! Kitchen was nicely stocked for cooking. Hot tub was easily accessible and comfortable to use. Highly recommend!

Stayed Aug 12, 2025Our experience was absolutely amazing!!!!The house was awesome!!Had everything we could possibly need!! Views were spectacular!!We saw Moose and babies daily!!! Wild turkeys , Deer All came so close to the house!The owners were so thoughtful that they had a huge container of water , which guess can fill daily to bring the wildlife closer.Best trip ever !!!

Stayed May 7, 2025This house exceeded all expectations and hopes. The view is excellent and the house is very comfy to be in. They even have a little fenced-in yard that our dog enjoyed. If and when we visit again, there's no other house we would consider if this one is available.

Stayed Mar 27, 2025Wow! It's a gorgeous, high-end (but not stuffy) place close enough to Denver but far enough to feel like you're out of town while being able to skip the traffic on 70 or 285! A 10-minute drive from Black Hawk and great trails at Golden Gate Canyon State Park. Incredible views from every room and top-notch amenities with a fenced yard, sunroom with hot tub, and garage parking. The owners are super nice, have thought of everything, and are readily available to answer questions. Highly recommend it, and we can't wait to go back!

Stayed Mar 14, 2025My husband, 15-year-old daughter, and in-laws all stayed at this cozy cabin over spring break, and we had a wonderful time! Kim was an excellent host—she responded quickly to every question I texted, which made everything so easy.During our stay, we were lucky enough to see three moose, Chubbs the bobcat, and some bighorn sheep in the area! We had snowball fights, relaxed by working on a puzzle together, and enjoyed playing chess, checkers, and card games—the cabin had a great selection of board games on-site, which was a nice touch.The house was spotless, warm, and inviting. It was the perfect place for a fun and relaxing family getaway!

Stayed Aug 22, 2024Great location at 9000’ elevation with views galore from the living room. Well stocked kitchen and baths. Hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking. Extra bonus points for a visit from a huge bull moose who was as curious about us as we were of him.He came right up to the window. He stayed in the area the next day as I waked to see him munching on grass outside my bedroom window.

Stayed Aug 11, 2024Best VRBO I have ever rented. Easy to find. Peaceful and tons of wildlife. Had a spa day in Black Hawk. Best of all were the outstanding views from every window.
