Mountain View Retreat central to Asheville and Black Mountain

House exactly as described. Clean, kitchen well equipped, though a few more larger pots would have been nice. We cooked every dinner there. Loved the porches, grill worked well. Good location for Asheville , Biltmore, state parks. Good grocery store a few minutes away. Only one complaint is the driveway, the lip is so steep, it made leaving and coming home quite an adventure. We were in a large passenger van, might have made it feel scarier than it actually is. We enjoyed our stay and lucky for us left the day before the flooding, if we hadn’t , we might still be there! We wish you all the best in your recovery efforts.

Loved the property. Very well appointed. Our only problem was the steepness of the driveway when exiting. We had an SUV, but the ruts and loose gravel made it difficult. Location was good for local attractions.

Very nice property, well maintained, well decorated and clean, but beware of very steep gravel driveway. Also be aware that the 5th bedroom is in the basement, away from rest of house. Returned home to a black bear in the driveway,, so keep car doors locked with no food inside.

Property was beautiful and spacious for our group to crash for a weekend wedding. All 8 of us were able to have the room we needed to relax, but the common areas were spacious and well supplied for the group hangs. Easy access to local areas with an easy drive in and out of the property. Only caveat would be for people trying to avoid any wildlife sitings as the bear family truly does love to visit!

Property was awesome. We were there for 3 nights with 9 adults and it hosted us perfectly. We only ate out twice and cooked the rest at the house in the fully stocked kitchen. Views are awesome and plenty of furniture to sit out on the deck and enjoy them. The host was very responsive and answered any question I had very quickly. Definitely recommended this property!!

We loved this place!! We had 9 girls and we had tons of room to get ready, hang out, anything! It’s super well stocked - tons of mugs, silverware, everything (they even had shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the bathrooms). The view is amazing and there’s a screened in porch with lots of seating that we loved having our coffee at in the morning! Easy to find and get to in a normal car and we were all raving about how much we loved it. Definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay here! We visited for a long weekend with several couples and would definitely return. The house is well appointed and a great space to spend time with friends. We loved the fact that each of the bedrooms had a queen bed. The hosts were incredibly responsive any time we needed anything at all. Thanks for a great stay.
