Stayed Dec 26, 2025The Mountain View Abode was perfect as our home base for our stay in the area. We enjoyed a lovely dinner and stargazing at Mt Cook Resort and also hiking at Mt Cook. Loved being able to relax in the evenings with a glass of NZ wine/beer while we washed and dried our clothes.

Stayed Sep 16, 2024This home was stunning! The views were the best of any Vrbo our group stayed in during our entire trip. The kitchen was well stocked. Seating areas and beds were all comfortable. We made a fire in the wood burning stove each night. Plenty of fire wood was provided. The host, Kenny, was friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. We could’ve easily spent another day in Twizel just to sit on the deck and watch the ducks in the pond with a gorgeous mountain backdrop. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Stayed Jan 3, 2024Set in Stunning Surroundings only a short drive to town centre. Spacious property, well equipped and with a unique style that fitted the local area well. Only regret is not staying longer! Great communication from friendly host. Definitely recommend
