Mountain Top Chalet ~ A/C & Close to Rec Trails!

Summary:

Located right off Big Powderhorn's Lift 1, Mountain Top Chalet has everything you're looking for in a vacation rental! Tucked into the woods and fully remodeled with your comfort in mind, this private, beautiful home has everything you could want and more!



There are 3 levels to this home, 2 living spaces each with a wood burning fireplace, 4 comfy bedrooms and a large loft area dedicated to hosting kids. This home is perfect for large group getaways at any timeof the year!



The Space:

When you arrive and park at the property, you will take a set of stairs up to the lower level entrance. This is where our smart lock is located. Inside the lower level, there are 2 bedrooms (Queen and 2 twins), a full bathroom with a stone lined walk-in shower, the first living space with a wood burning fireplace, a small wet bar and the washer and dryer.



Going up the stairs to the main level, there are 2 more bedrooms (King and Queen), another full bathroom with another stone lined walk-in shower, the second living space and fireplace, dining room (table seats 8), full kitchen and access to wrap around porch.



The loft space is located above the main floor and is dedicated to kids! There are coloring books with crayons, board games, puzzles, a Roku TV, children's books and a large chest full of toys!



Outside in the backyard, there is metal fire pit, surrounded by adirondack chairs and a small charcoal grill.



Guest Access:

Guests have full access to all levels of the home, except for one locked supply closet.

The front deck is currently off limits to guests as we are having maintenance work performed.



The Neighborhood:

Mountain Top Chalet is located just off of Powderhorn Lift 1 and just down the hill from the Snow Summit Trailhead. Whether you are downhill skiing, XC skiing, snowshoeing or fat tire biking, Mountain Top Chalet is surrounded by trails!



Getting Around:

Guests will be required to drive to the property, public transportation is limited in our area. If guests required more than 3 parking spaces, the remaining vehicles can be left in the public parking lots around the Powderhorn Lodge.



Mountain Top Chalet is located near the top of the ski hill and traveling in our area during the winter months can be difficult. If you are concerned your vehicle may struggle getting to the property, please let us know and we will be on call to assist if there is an issue. Please keep emergency supplies in your vehicle when traveling during the winter months.



Other Things to Note:

Mountain Top Chalet is more than a ski rental! Our home is surrounded by every type of trail system Michigan has to offer: snow shoeing, XC skiing, fat tire biking, mountain biking, hiking (to more waterfalls), snowmobile, ATV/UTV and more! We are also only a short drive to the Black River Waterfalls and the Copper Peak ski jump. No matter the adventure, Mountain Top Chalet is your perfect base camp!



This is not a pet friendly property. Any unauthorized pets will result in a $350 fee. If unauthorized pets are brought to our attention during a guests stay it will result in a $350 fee as well as termination of the remainder of the stay.



Each of our reservations come with a damage protection policy, so you can enjoy peace of mind that your stay is protected, without paying extra high security deposits!



Interaction with Guests:
