The house was amazing! Had everything we needed for a weekend stay with teenagers. Loved the game room and the beds were amazing. The property is beautiful with lots of activities outside. Can't wait to visit again in warmer weather!
We spent an amazing and wholesome time as a family. Great location and amazing scenic views.
We went away for a fun couples weekend and this was the perfect place to stay! Lots of room/space for us to hang out without feeling cramped. The house is furnished with beautiful artwork that set the tone for the entire weekend. The picturesque views were amazing, refreshing and relaxing. If you want to get away - this is the place!
We loved our stay at the shack. Hiking behind the house and huge game room in the basement were the two highlights. We stayed for a week over thanksgiving break. Kitchen had plenty of pans, pots and dishes. Can’t wait to plan our next visit to the beautifully decorated cozy shack!
This home is beautifully laid out for chats by the fire or short Hikes in the woods. Perfect for girls weekend or romantic getaway. Plenty of things to do for small kids as well if you want a family weekend. The owner communicates back right away and we are glad we made our second trip back. Hoping for a third soon!
The Shack is beautiful, comfortable and inspiring. The beauty and inspiration is inside as well as outside. There are artistic surprises in every room and every effort was made to make sure we were comfortable and entertained. we loved it!
The Shack is immediately comfortable and cozy when walking through the front door. Thoughtful art and lovely furnishings contribute to the home's decor and warm appeal.
We had a small group but the house was more than plenty big. We loved that the trails were just a step away from our back door. The Big Canoe development has everything you need, you don't have to leave the compound, if you don't want to do so. Would love to come back again.
Our stay at The Shack was so much fun! Great location for a Fall visit. We enjoyed playing in the creek with the grandkids and taking the short hike to the lake. There was lots for them to do in the house when it rained. Besides the pool / pingpong table and arcade/wii games downstairs, there are lots of puzzles and other toys upstairs. Lots of room to spread out. The property owner was always quick to respond to all my questions and requests. We highly recommend The Shack.
We had a great time in the big canoe community. There was so much to do at the house that you really didn’t have to leave. We received recommendations of things to do in the information sent by the property manager before our stay. The Home restaurant made us feel extremely welcomed and the food was great! We would definitely do this again.
