Asheville, North Carolina
You'll feel like you're sleeping in the clouds in this spacious and beautiful mountain home. People have described it as 'magical', exclaiming over the incredible views from every floor. Another user claimed 'photos can't do it justice.' And we agree. You have to see it to believe the majestic Blue Ridge Mountain vistas. Lush and green during the summer, blazing yellows, oranges and reds in the fall, crisp, windy, but mostly mild in the winter. Two master suites and two smaller bedrooms, with a stored mattress that will make it comfortable for up to 9 people. Animal friendly with reasonable pet fee deposit. Gym on site with sauna. Whirlpool bathtub In one master big enough for two. Safe and friendly but very quiet neighborhood (no loud parties) just 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. If you're lucky you might spot a bear ambling by (don't worry, the house is fully 'bear proof') or the resident fox family on a stroll. Stunning array of stars at night. Outdoor fire pit on top floor balcony. Barbecue. Nearby hiking trails, and ski lifts within driving distance.
House configuration - four stories. Basement with separate entrance, large windows, gym and sauna (but sauna is finicky). Garage level has very large second Master with queen bed, tv room, separate bathroom and very large private balcony. Main level has living room, reading room, dining room, half bath, Master bedroom (King) with master bath en suite, kitchen, large balcony, front wrap around porch and small partially screened in breakfast area. Top level has laundry room, bathroom, two small bedrooms with double beds in each, TV room and small balcony with swing and fire pit.

We loved staying at this house. Beautiful views and lovely home. Three levels for family. We cooked most meals to enjoy the location. Close to Downtown. We had seafood buffet at Grove Park Inn and took Christmas Trolley from Biltmore Village. Went up on Blue Ridge Parkway. We could stay here again.
Great experience and wonderful house.
We stayed here for the Thanksgiving holiday. It was absolute paradise; the views, the serenity, the amenities of the home, and the location close to Asheville. The host was incredibly responsive to all of our questions/requests and gave great tips on things to do locally. If you are looking for a mountain getaway, this is the place.
The other reviews were spot on when they said this house was magical and that the photos didn't do it justice. Everything in the house was immaculate and the setting and view were spectacular. The decor is tasteful and the place has a lovely spirit. The host was fantastic and responsive. The location is great - it is in a peaceful quiet neighborhood and I could spend all day looking at the view changing from sunrise to sunset. But the house is also within an easy drive to downtown Asheville and fantastic scenic walks. We have rented a lot of vacation homes and this one was a true gem. We can't wait to visit again!
House was clean and in a good location, about 20 minutes from downtown and everything we wanted to do in Asheville. Some of the things that are a bit further south were a bit far for our families since we had young kids but we just skipped those. The online listing says there's two master suites but the bottom floor master bathroom is separated from the bedroom. However on that floor there's only the bathroom the bedroom and a separate little TV room. The separate little TV room worked out great to put a crib in and keep the baby a little bit separate. Master bedroom upstairs closet with big enough for a second baby crib So those littles that we had with us could be somewhat separate from the parents so that was nice. Gorgeous view from the house of the mountains. Host was great and left great instructions And as a major plus this is the one house that we stayed at where we didn't have to bring extra toilet paper spices and everything. It was really nice. Grocery store was about 15 minutes away. Cons: House wasn't very soundproof with baby crying (you could hear one kid crying in every room). Downstairs master bed was very uncomfortable.
Our experience in finding a summer getaway home that would provide space and comfort for our family and visiting friends was seamless. The selection of homes provided by VRBO were numerous and their availability matched up with our desired dates of occupancy. The owner of the home we selected was very accommodating and accessible. The home was as described on the website and exceeded our expectations. Access to some of the best restaurants, golf courses, and cultural attractions in Asheville, N.C. were only 15-20 minutes away from our location. We would not hesitate to recommend VRBO when searching for a home to rent for a summer, special occasions, or for the Holidays.
This was our first visit to the Asheville area, and this home was nothing short of stunning. Our host was incredibly easy to work with and communication was excellent. This home is beautiful beyond words. It offered gorgeous views, a chance to.Interact with nature, and every amenity you could imagine. My family could not have chosen a better place to spend our holidays.
great view and colors were outstanding.
The views were spectacular and we had plenty of space for our multiple families to stay. Everyone had their own floor to stay on. It was a wonderful way to experience Asheville!
We were in Asheville for the destination wedding of my daughter. The house is secluded with a beautiful mountain top view, but also very accessible. We hosted the bridal party the day of the wedding and the master suite, kitchen and multiple levels and balconies provided large enough spaces for group preparations and for more relaxed hangout time. Ginny, our host was so helpful fielding multiple questions and requests both prior to and after booking. It was the perfect house for us at a most important time for our family.
Such a nice spot to spend time with family!
Our group (6 writers) wanted a location that felt secluded, but was close enough to downtown Asheville and the Biltmore to make visits easy. This house fulfilled those needs perfectly! Everyone agreed that the multiple outdoor common spaces, decks, and private nooks were perfect for getting our work done while still supporting each other. We would love to return again soon. Those with mobility issues may need to consider that there are four levels and many stairs in this house.
