Stayed Jul 25, 2025This cabin was perfect for our family! Spacious, clean, everything worked and was accurate to the description on VRBO. We really appreciated the decorations (80's retro), the huge deck, the covered parking and the comfy living room/den area that accommodated 4 adults easily and comfortably. Also it was super handy to be right down the hill from the store and restaurants. Do highly recommend!

Stayed Jul 5, 2024Our family that consisted of me, my husband my mom, our teen son and our dog had a wonderful time staying at David’s place. We had a bumpy start (due on unforeseen circumstances) but luckily it got fixed and David made it right again. The rest of the stay was great. It was an extremely hot weekend in July and the shady shamrock was perfect for cooling off and hanging out. The deck was lovely to hang out on during the cooler hrs of the day. This place is also close to shops and some other fun attractions. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quaint getaway to a cute town or as close by place to stay to visit Calaveras Big Trees State park like we did. And white pines lake was a lovely surprise spot that we wish were able to enjoy longer if we came prepared.
