Warren, Vermont
Welcome to our Mountain House Getaway!! Perfect spot for a family holiday ski vacation or summer mountain bike/hike trip. The house is located at the top of a quiet road, where you will find many outdoor attractions and activities all year round. As you enter the house there is a mudroom and laundry area. Three unique bedrooms( 2 Queen room and 3rd room with 2 bunk beds) are located on the first level, along with a full bath. The Master bedroom is on the main level. As you enter the main level, you will see an open concept living area with a beautiful, stone, wood-burning fireplace. The living area is set up with lots of seating to make yourself comfortable after a day of activity. The additional living space adds a great space to spread out- watch a movie, do some work, or tune your skis. The kitchen has been fully renovated with stainless appliances and granite countertops. It is fully equipped with all you would need to eat in, although there are a variety of options within minutes of the house if you choose to dine out. In addition we have also have a living area on a 3rd level with a woodstove and vaulted ceiling to take a break and unwind. In the front there is a driveway with ample parking with room for 3-4 vehicles.
World class alpine and nordic skiing are within minutes. Views of Lincoln Peak erupt through the trees in the driveway. Sugarbush North (Mount Ellen) sits 2 miles to the north, while Sugarbush South(Lincoln Peak) is only 1 mile to the south and Madriver Glenn sits another 4. For your convenience, there are a variety of bus services that can take you from place to place, if needed. Stowe Mountain Resort is an easy 50 minute drive to the northeast. Many other resorts are within an hour.
Warren, Fayston, and Waitsfield all merge within a couple miles of us. They are each unique towns, rich in history and Yankee flare. You wont find any restaurant franchises here, however, you will find some of the finest dining that money can buy. Ski, bike, Pubs, American Flatbread, Spas, apparel, antique, grocery and family owned country and art stores are in the plenty.
This is our families little gem, we have worked very hard for it, yet are willing to share it with other mature and responsible families and people looking to explore Vermont.
Thank you for the interest, we hope you choose to stay here and create fond memories of your own.

Excellent stay, very comfortable house
This cabin is exactly what you need for a ski getaway with family and friends. Tons of beds and a large kitchen. We came to ski all day and cook/rest up at night so it was perfect for us. My only complaint was that it was a bit dusty/cobwebs everywhere. It’s a mountain cabin so I got over it. Neighbors are super friendly and lots of walking trails if you know how to find them! Kim is very responsive and the internet was perfect.
We comfortably fit 4 adults and 3 kids in the home. We loved the two dedicated mud rooms for snow gear. The house warms up so quickly with the wood stove. Check-in took a while because the outside lock was frozen and there was no other means of entry. We rubbed coats on it to warm it up as much as possible. Took about 20 minutes. We also did laundry and the dryer didn’t work. Three shirts didn’t dry after 3 hours in the dryer. The owner reported to us that they have one on order but it was after check-in. A big reason we booked the property was because of the W/D. Would’ve been more considerate to know before our 12 hour road trip to get there as we would’ve packed differently and we had a family member fly in from Europe. The owner was responsive though overall. As a host ourselves we just had a level of expectations staying as a guest and some weren’t met. One of the bunk beds is broken so it really only sleeps 3 in the bunk room instead of 4. Great location with a 5 min drive to the resort. A lot of restaurants are closed on Monday and Tuesday so plan meals ahead.
Easy access to ski areas, comfortable property, great value.
Great location, well appointed, very tidy place. Nice fireplace and wood stove!
Super close to Sugarbush and Waitsfield/Warren. More than enough room for our party of 5 adults and pets! Quaint ski lodge. We enjoyed our visit!
Kim was a great host, responded quickly to all questions. Location was excellent, allowing easy access to Sugarbush or Mad River Glen. House was cozy and the fireplace was absolutely beautiful.
We planned a last-minute ski trip to SugarBush and had a great time at this rental. Plenty of space for our family of 5. Roaring fires kept us warm and the location was perfectly close to the Village to ski every day. Would definitely rent again
This house was perfect for a ski weekend for a group. Very close to the access road and shuttle, but we ended up driving to the Lincoln base, which was an easy drive. The pictures don't do justice for how much room there is to spread out in the living room/kitchen. Thanks for a great stay!
The house very comfortably hosted 4 adults , 3 kids and a dog. It's a perfect location between Lincoln Peak and Mount Ellen. If you need to rent or buy equipment, there's a ski shop 3 minutes away. The fire place and wood burning stove heated the house perfectly after a day on the slopes.
