Welcome to Majestic Mountain Hideaway!
Enjoy a pleasant mountain stroll at 3,900 feet at Majestic Mountain Hideaway. This home is private and secure at the end of a well-maintained, paved cul-de-sac just minutes away from Boone and Blowing Rock. Those staying at Majestic Mountain Hideaway enjoy views of Grandfather Mountain on one side of the home and a large pasture replete with wildlife on another side.
Majestic Mountain Hideaway has a modern kitchen fully equipped with high-quality cookware and standard kitchen/bar supplies. There are two gas-log fireplaces for warmth in winter and high elevation breezes to cool you in the summer. There is central A/C for those rare days when it gets hot. You will find four (4) HDTVs in the home, a pool table, and well-maintained furniture so you can relax as comfortably as you would at home. You can even bring your pets.
The outdoor space offers a relaxing, wooded setting with five porches, a hot tub, rocking chairs, cushioned chairs, an umbrella table, and a porch swing. The large gas grill is perfect for grilling out, and the gas fire table is excellent for toasting marshmallows as you watch the sunset over the mountain. This home is ideal for private and casual family gatherings. You may even hear a distant train whistle from the nearby Tweetsie Railroad.
For those seeking an easy-access home, Majestic Mountain Hideaway has no entry steps and is equipped with handrails for added assistance. If your group would benefit from having two adjacent houses, Celtic Cabin is next door and can rent along with Majestic Mountain Hideaway.

With five kids in our group, ages 13 to 2, we were hoping for a little more outdoor play space. The large grassy space in the photos is not on the property and separated by a barbed wire fence so we had to settle for the cul-de-sac out front. While fun, we felt pretty guilty for being loud as neighbors are very close. Also bring your own toiletries, paper goods and laundry/dish soap as very little is provided. The ice machine in the refrigerator does not work so also be prepared for that. Other than that we did enjoy ourselves and the hot tub!
This cabin was a the perfect rental for my family (2 adults/2 nine year olds), my brother, his daughter ( 9 year old as well) and our parents. There was space for the kids to play and be rowdy and a separate place for the adults relax after a day of hiking or skiing. The ONLY complaint I have is that the towels smelled like cigarette smoke. Not sure if the cleaning company took them home and washed/dried and returned BUT I had to rewatch them all bc it was very strong. Otherwise this was a perfect cabin to rent and we will be back next year for sure!
This is a great rental property. We would love to stay here again in the future.
Great location right off the parkway - comfy beds and a nice view
I would give a higher overall mark but there are a few significant issues we saw. One, the cleanliness was not there. Upstairs guest bathroom smelled, many pots/pans not very clean from a previous use. Also several maintenance issues in the house we found a bit disappointing. The communication with the property manager were very prompt and courteous and thought they did a great job. The house is very nice and very enjoyable to stay in. Kitchen not as well stocked as some of the reviews say but overall we would stay again. Love the Boone area and the location close to the blue ridge parkway was very nice.
We had a really great homely experience with this cabin. We felt right at home and would stay again however there were three things that stood out that needed correcting. . 1. Full on halfRotting orange peels were found stuck under the recliner’s in the downstairs basement that my dogs kept gnawing on until I figured out what they were going for. . Luckily it was nothing that was caustic to them. As well popcorn kernels everywhere. Other than that I felt at home. 2. Our outdoor fire pit would not ignite at all . My family and I planned on making s’more’s however we were not able to do because it would not light. Even after buying an additional lighter and making sure that the propane tank was on it still would not lite (that supposedly connected to the house) 3. The upstairs fireplace instructions are very unclear compared to the downstairs fire instructions. I feel like they should be universal in order to avoid any kind of natural disaster within the house. 4. Some of the pool stick for the pool table need to repaired or upgraded cause some were in need of repair.
My family and I had a terrific time at Majestic Hideaway and the surrounding area. The location of the house and the neighborhood was very easy to get to and we felt safe at all times. To me, the review made it seem as if the outside area was much bigger than it actually was. Once you stepped out back, there was a barbed wire fence enclosure for a pasture that I don't remember showing up in the pictures. In the write up about the house, it stated that it would be cleaned to Covid 19 standards. This was not the case when we arrived. The countertops were greasy, the oven had not been cleaned, and there was much dust in the main living area. I called management to let them know so that this would not happen in the future with other renters. The kitchen was fully supplied, and the bathrooms and bedrooms were very clean. Except for the cleanliness of the kitchen (that I hope will be corrected), I would recommend this to other family members and friends.
Just finished a fulfilling 5 night stay at Majestic Mountain Hideaway. The house is very welcoming and easy to live in. Very clean and tidy when we arrived. Two level living areas are good for those that want to stay up late (teens and mid-20s) vs those that want to go to bed (us!). We had 6 inches of snow and so sledding was pretty popular on the steep hill off the back. Full open floor plan lets you cook and converse at the same time. Hot tub was very popular too. Would definitely stay here again.
Loved everything about this property, including the location, the home layout and the amenities. We will definitely be back! Only complaint is that we visited over Christmas break. The homeowner failed to provide any type of Christmas decorations. While we were disappointed, we improvised...
We had an amazing mountain getaway celebrating my parent's 40th wedding anniversary. The house was perfect for our family of nine. We loved the open floor plan with the kitchen and living room. We had plenty of room for everyone to eat. The bedrooms were very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub! We wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely plan a trip back in the future.
