Great location, lots of room, quiet. Big deck out back with great views. Fireplace was nice and cozy. Would stay again!
Close to outdoor activities and close to Leadville. Also the humming birds were amazing!
We had an excellent relaxing time in this cabin, in the middle of large pine trees and nature, my family really enjoyed the campfire at night.
The property was the perfect base camp for our weekend of outdoor adventures. Just minutes from downtown Leadville but yet we felt very secluded. The property was clean, had everything we needed, and exceeded expectations.
Great comfy furniture inside and on deck and front porch. Grill works great! Location ideal for Turquoise Lake and Camp Hale. Groceries 5 min away in Leadville. Beds good. In summer we found basement two bedrooms and bathroom too chilly to sleep in. Loft has three comfortable beds and temp was acceptable with open window. Only prob was bathroom access not on same floor. Very well-equipped kitchen, but dishes, pans, utensils were dirty in cupboards. They have a tiny dishwasher. I wonder if it works adequately. We hand washed dishes and got ours clean easily. Deck is outstanding. We had dinners out there every night. Lovely! In July there are scores of hummingbirds duking it out over 7 feeders, many Rufous among them. It was depressing to see black fungus in most of the feeders and no brush to help clean them. Overall, though, a nice cabin with good ambiance.
Your cabin is so beautiful. Saw mule deer right outside of the windows. Watching the stars from your back patio was spectacular. Everything was in the house. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.
Perfect place to stay while visiting my son who lives downtown Leadville!! Quiet, comfy and easy trip into town.
The cabin is set back away from the roads far enough that you don't notice vehicles driving by. There is only one other house visible through the trees, and it's probably a couple hundred yards away. It's quiet and peaceful. The loft sleeping arrangement was a hit with our children.
Place was even better than shown online! Very spacious and phenomenal decor and furniture, with great scenery around too. Loved the fireplace as well
We chose the location as it was convenient to Ski Cooper. We were not disappointed. The house was comfortable and perfect for our group.
The property exceeded my expectations. I felt like I was secluded in the mountains yet had the convenience of a short drive into town or to Ski Cooper. The cabin was beautiful and well stocked!
Pleasant
Loved it.
Would 100% rent again
We spent a few days at the Lake County house so we could participate in Leadville's Silver Rush Trail Run and MTB Ride. Property was quiet and clean. One sticky silverware drawer was hard for us and I would suggest dish towels so we didn't need to dry things using lots of paper towels, otherwise we loved it so much we stayed home instead of going out to dinner. Thanks!
