Stayed May 2, 2024This was a perfect stay! 50 mins from Orlando airport. The house is fully equipped. We used the outdoor bar, grill and pool our whole stay. We will be booking again

Stayed Dec 27, 2023This house was beautiful, the kitchen was large and well equipped for our family of 6. The outdoors area was perfect, relaxing and with lots to do for everyone. It is close to both Mount Dora historic district and Tavares. I would definitely recommend.

Stayed Jan 30, 2026The house itself was very well equipped and clean. Check-in went smoothly.We were very inconvenienced by a service call for an HVAC tech (knocking on the door at 7:30 a.m on day 2) for what we were told by the owner was a preventative maintenance issue. Later that day we returned to the house, and found that there was no heat at all. Freezing temps outside, and the inside temps were 53 degrees!I understand things like this happen and are beyond the control of the owner. However, my message to the owner went unanswered and as of 3 days past check-out, still nothing from him.

Stayed Jun 27, 2025The property is very cute and well themed. The area is a great, lots of shops and restaurants and a downtown with nice water views to explore. Had a great time!Cookware in the house could use an upgrade, and a brita/other water filter. It’s a buggy area (not the fault of the property, especially in summer). But any issues we had were pretty minor

Stayed May 3, 2025House is as pictured, clean and very comfortable. The backyard is in need of some TLC, it has the potential to be an amazing space. The pool was nice to have in the heat needed to be cleaned but I still used it. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This property is neat. Several nooks and crannies, a wonderful private space for sitting by the pool / tikibar / grill to enjoy a coffee or other beverage, and a really nice coffee bar setup just awaiting your arrival (two k-cup coffee makers, one of which also can provide a traditional pot of coffee). The kitchen had ample space, and the beds were comfy. It was perfect for visiting family in the area. And our pup enjoyed the fenced in back yard. Will definitely return.

Stayed Oct 25, 2024Cute house- need to clean the floors- they look clean but when you walk with your socks on it is not clean. Please get a better quality TP for the next guests. Sadly, the exterior is lacking any care. Landscaping is a mess, needs a few hours of clean up and would be more appealing , like the pictures showed on your listing. I do realize we had hurricane Milton come thru, however there was ample time to weed, trim and clean up the yard. The rear exterior structure is old and tired and does not look like the pictures either. Time for a redo. Neighborhood is not favorable.

Stayed May 17, 2024We decided to go to Mt Dora for 4 days for my birthday and also my husband and I's 16th anniversary because of its location to where we live in Brooksville to my granddaughter and her husband who live in Eustis and my son and his wife who live in Green Cove Springs. and daughter here from Brooksville. NOt to far for any of us to drive. This place was perfect in all ways for us!! We had such a great time and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to visit in the area. The back yard is so relaxing and we spent a lot of time out on that patio. As far as I am concerned, it is 5 STAR!! And Gavin was an absolute delight and willing to do anything to make us happy!
