Right on the Moose River. Ride to all snowmobile trails. Rustic, family friendly, and walking distance to everything in Old Forge. Three bedrooms, two upstairs and one down. There is a back yard fire pit with chairs. Firewood can be purchased at many places locally.There are stairs to both the firepit and the river. Rent Kayaks/canoes at Mountainman Outdoor Supply Co. Rte 28. The living room has a smart TV and the 1st floor bedroom TV has a Amazon firestick. No central air conditioning but

Stayed May 23, 2025The weather wasn’t the best. Cold and rainy but we still had a blast! House location is perfect ! We walked to all the shops/restaurants. The river view in the back is beautiful! Overall we would definitely come back!

Stayed Feb 14, 2025We had a wonderful stay in this cottage in Old Forge. Driveway was plowed so it was easy for us (2 trucks) to park. Cottage was very nice, this was our 2nd stay there. Directions for use of items in the cottage were listed and posted. We look forward to a 3rd stay next year!

Stayed Feb 2, 2025The property is great. We were a group of 4 snowmobilers. The home had everything we needed to to make breakfast and dinner, lunch was on the trail. The home was well set up and clean upon our arrival. Parking is minimal, room for 2 trucks or 3 cars, which was not an issue for us as we parked our trailer in the township trailer lot for the week. We hope to return. Thanks for a great stay.

Stayed Sep 27, 2024Wonderful weekend ! The neighborhood is quiet. It was relaxing sitting on deck with view of moose river. Deer visited each day. The kitchen was stocked with everything that would need and more! Only issue is there was only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 5 adults for 4 days and having to remove garbage and take to transfer site. I understand concern for bears. Putting garbage in our vehicles was a concern. The cabin is weel stock morning.
