I stayed here during a weekend I had tickets to a concert in Asheville. It was wonderful, clean, quiet, and seemless.

The Herren House has all the charm of a boarding house from days gone by combined with all the modern conveniences of today. Communication, check-in, accessing our room, and check-out were smooth and easy. The Town of Waynesville has a wonderful downtown with a variety of restaurants all within walking distance of Herren House. We only spent one night and wish we had more time to explore the town and surrounding area.

Got what we hoped for.. SNOW, SNOW, and even more SNOW. A foot and half of Snow over the MLK weekend. So much so we were socked in on Sunday. The B&B proved comfortable and sufficient. Used the kitchen to prepare our meals as all restaurants, except Waffle House, was closed. Props to Publics for opening. Bring chains if you have a FWD/ 2WD vehicle during Snow storm. Back streets in Waynesville could prove a bit challanging. Props to Autozone for opening. Loved the house. Our room , Molly, was very nice. Got to see Lucille and Lucia rooms. Both were exceptional. Will look to get one of these on future visits. The B&B is a great value. 20 minutes from Catalochee Ski Area. Owner was quick to respond and resolve to some initial WIFI issues.

I arrived close to midnight and had easy access to the room despite the late hour. Instructions on entering the house and the room were easy to follow.
