High quality craftsmanship through out the home. Soak in the claw foot tub and look out the skylight at the moon and stars. Plenty of parking for boat and cars with a circle drive. Enjoy your morning coffee on the morning deck. Two of the three bathrooms have showers in addition to the bathroom with the claw foot soaking tub. Outside is a fire pit for smores and relaxing.
Keywords: Two Story with fantastic lower level, real stone fireplace, breakfast deck, tiled and carpeted floors, private rear yard, fire pit and an open concept living area to entertain.
This property was all it was advertised as. The kitchen/dining area was enormous, and the table for 8 was precisely what was required for our group of 4 couples. The four bedrooms were as shown in the pictures - all with queen beds (perhaps could use new mattress and spring). The house is lovely, and was spotlessly clean. The location close to Fish Creek was ideal for bicycling, restaurants, latte procurement, and proximity to state parks and Washington Island. We had a blast.
It was the perfect house for us. One bedroom on the main level for parents who are 95 and 96. Well stocked kitchen so we could make our own meals. Fire pit for one campfire. Every level had a bathroom and bedrooms. Only one small step to enter the cabin.
Great house for a family or couples looking to stay in Door County. Those who are able can Walk into Fish Creek via cottage row and see great houses and views. Backyard is fun for fires on cool evenings. Plenty of room for everyone, full kitchen with ample cooking supplies. This was our third stay and the hosts are very responsive and easy to communicate with. Drivable to all the great spots
Everything was great...house was beautiful Would stay again...nice local
It was a lovely house with room for everyone
We loved staying in this house! The house was very clean and very comfortable. We had a slight concern about something and the owners were very responsive and very quick to help remedy the problem. It was a pleasure to stay there. We also love the location.
This property was perfect for 8 adults. There are four bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms within three floors. When we pulled up it looked a little bit small and we were wondering how in the world we were all going to fit. But then we walked in and the home is just beautiful and spacious and worked wonderfully. The house is centrally located between Fish Creek and Egg Harbor and was ideal for all that we wanted to do for the long weekend. I highly recommend this home if you're looking for a getaway up in Door County. We will definitely be back!
Very nice, spacious house! Great location, near downtown Fish Creek. Would recommend!
It was the perfect property for our family to enjoy the area. Large kitchen made for fun dinners together after days of exploring Door County. Kitchen is well stocked and there is a Weber charcoal grill outside. Plenty of space to relax and we enjoyed having the fire pit available in the back. It’s about a mile walk to town for those who don’t mind a hike back up the hill from Fish Creek.
Enjoyed staying at the home.
Wonderful memories made at this beautiful CLEAN house. Would recommend to anyone. Owners are so easy to contact & work with.
The house is much better inside than it looks from the road. Very well kept and worked well for our group. One concern that should be noted in s the lack of a second exit from lower bedrooms.
Property is spacious and clean. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Great location close to Fish Creek, Peninsula Park, and numerous land trusts. Wifi is great and enables you to work remotely. Kitchen well stocked although the coffee grinder needs to be replaced. House is just off of Highway 42 so there is noise from traffic. You can walk to the Settlement Shops and the Farmers Market but otherwise, you are kind of land locked. Walking into downtown Fish Creek via backroads takes about 40 minutes and is nice to do but takes some planning. Biking on the back roads is also convenient but eventually requires getting back on the highway at some point in time if you are going to take a more lengthy bike ride.
This is my second time staying at this property, and we enjoyed it just as much as the first! (and clearly enough to go back) The location is right by Fish Creek downtown, also allowing for easy travel to Egg Harbor and Ephraim. The house itself is spacious with three floors, plenty of open space (in case of rainy days or multiple families), great amenities like a firepit for s'mores and a kitchen full of utensils and pots/pans. The upstairs is popular with little ones, while the downstairs is great for quiet while the little ones play. The owners have always been very responsive and accomodating, and having a great place to stay made our trip to Door County even better!
