Modern, view-worthy townhome with grill, W/D, shared pools & rental kayaks

Wonderful place!!

Upon arrival, it was immediately clear the property had not been cleaned. The house was filthy. Showers coated in scum and hair, greasy fingerprints and smears across counters and appliances, a grimy floor, and a sink that clearly hadn’t been touched. Every shower drain was clogged with hair. The only toiletries provided were a single bottle of hand soap causing us to share amongst kitchen and multiple bathrooms. The kitchen was just as disappointing. The utensils, pots, and pans were so old and mismatched you’d find better quality at Goodwill. Cooking a proper meal here was impossible, which completely defeats the point of booking a vacation rental with a “full kitchen.”We couldn’t even trust the beds were clean. Finding hair in the sheets forced us to spend our first hour washing bedding and scrubbing the house ourselves, using the lone random cleaner we found shoved in a cupboard.Yes, the location may be great, but cleanliness and basic functionality are the bare minimum, and this property failed completely. Save yourself the frustration there are plenty of other options at Wapato Point Resort that are worth the worth the price and properly maintained. Do not book here, and avoid both VRBO and Vacasa management if this is the level of “service” they allow. Read the other recent reviews and RUN far way from this property.

Great place to stay!

Needs some TLC and a deepCleaning on floors. Kitchen utensils lacking and supplies like garbage bags and paper towel non existent. Cleaning crew need to be aware of bad bees and ants around garbage not being pickedUp

Narrow unit, very tiny grass area, lots of stairs as it’s 3 levels, small living space.

We came back to Wapato Point for the resort amenities, including an indoor pool and hot tub. During this stay we also rented sleds to enjoy the fresh snow and have some fun just steps from the property. We also had so much fun snow tubing at Echo Valley. The property is very new and was just right for our family of 4 plus grandparents. We were warm and cozy while watching the snow and the resort staff kept the roads clear so we could get out and explore too.

Great place, super clean and has all the great amenities that comes from staying at Wapato Point.

Nice home for families, has nice amenities, lots of open space around the area to play and close to many good wineries!

Ponderosa 2A is clean and light, with mountain and water views from some rooms. Nice places to sit on the patio or deck for morning coffee or evening unwind. Close to Wapato Point amenities like the beach and playgrounds, indoor pool. The layout was great for 4 adults and an infant, and there was room for more! Great stock of kitchen necessities and towels, beach towels, games, cards, etc. we would stay again.

Great home, provides lots of space to spend time together and also allows people space to relax as needed. Beautiful home, very comfortable and you can’t beat the location!

If you love swimming in Lake Chelan, you are steps from the beach. If you would rather have a view of the beach, while swimming in a (nearly) private pool, this place is great. We thought we'd be at the beach, but the pool was so nice and so close, that we found that hanging out there with the view of the lake couldn't be beat. Easy walking distance to ice cream, the farmers market, the supermarket (pricey!) and a great taco truck were great. Having the mini-splits in each room meant that we could get the temperature just right in each room. Overall, I couldn't have been happier with our choice of place to stay and would gladly go here again (and bring beach chairs and an umbrella).

Wapato Point is super fun! This is a great location to use the resort! Note the view of this unit is in 2nd row looking at the road and a garage door.

New 3 bedroom. Close to pool/hot tub. Excellent choice.
