Modern Spacious Home with Epic Lake Views

This is an absolutely stunning property with all the amenities. The owner is wonderful and answered every question promptly. Our family had a wonderful time. There are amazing views from the back patio. Close to downtown, spacious and quiet. We loved it.

We were a group of 4 couples from Ohio. We have rented probably 24 homes and condos through VRBO. Mostly they have been on lakes or at the ocean in the midwest, east coast, southeastern US. I was a bit surprised at all of the high ratings for this particular house.It is a very basic house, one that only the bare minimum was done to make it into a rental. This doesn't make it bad, but it doesn't make it as nice as most of the places we have rented. The grounds are in need of maintenance, shrubs are over grown, really just the bare minimum is being done to maintain the grounds. There is a heavy duty screen door on the front of the house that has no knob, see pic, and the window to the left of the front door has a broken seal, so it is completely fogged up, you cannot see out of it.See pic I failed to realize that this house doesn't have central AC. I'm guessing that perhaps, most houses in the PNW do not have AC, but they did provide portable AC units in the 3 upstairs bedrooms. These were not visible in any of the pictures on the site. These units work well, but are extremely loud, and cycle on and off, which can disturb sleep. These units have to vented through an open window too, some people my not like this, it does make the road traffic more audible. Despite this, this is a quiet neighborhood, and the views off the back deck are very good, picture of a sunrise attached.

Great place to stay allMy friends are enjoyed

It was very hot that day we checked in and there was no central ac and I’m assuming heater. It was hard to figure out the ceiling fan in the living room. There were split ac on all the 3 rooms upstairs but none below. The AC’s were very loud. Can tell the house was not cleaned well. The baseboards were dusty, Lanai/deck was dusty, lights in the porch were dusty. The Lanai furniture’s are shaky, you have to sit down gently The screen door on the main door had no knob, we had to tie it to Keep it close since we needed cross ventilation. The woods used on the ceiling, around the kitchen island, back of the master bedroom have what appears to be insect bites. Beautiful view of the lake, but the deck is too near the next property and there’s a sign that you can’t have noise from 10 pM to 8 AM. The house is not well maintained. There’s empty bottles/soda cans in the little garden outside, very evident that no one has done yard work. A written instructions about lighting, stove would be nice.The house is near my uncle’s house so it was convenient. We used it for sleeping since we were out with the family during the days. Pictures show the AC in the rooms. The master BR has no closet. I can’t recommend this rental property.

A lovely place...it was absolutely beautiful and the view from the upstairs kitchen window over the sink was breathtaking. And there is no way I could not mention the beautiful patio area upstairs, along with how clean everything was. It was perfect for what i needed.

The location of this rental was fantastic, and the view of the lake was absolutely stunning. The house itself was spacious and comfortably fit our large group, which made it great for gathering and relaxing. However, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Upon arrival, I had to sweep crumbs off the floors and clean the kitchen counters and sink. We also found leftover items like applesauce pouches under a bed and a paper towel stuck to a kitchen cabinet. With a little more attention to cleaning, this place would be a true gem.

Big and clean and close to Seattle.

I wish I would have gone there earlier this year. The lake view was great and the sunsets were beautiful. House is big enough for a whole family with multiple rooms. Master bed was super comfortable, Guest bedroom were ok. Everything worked and it was a great location. Will stay here again for sure.

We stayed here for just one night after a long flight and before launching our visit to the Olympic Peninsula. Situated close to the airport, it was a perfect location for late arrivers. The house is very clean, with very comfortable beds. The view from the deck is wonderful - a great introduction to the area, especially in the early morning. Unfortunately, we stayed there on one of the hottest nights of the year and the house was very warm when we arrived - just bad timing for us. There could have been a few more basic supplies in the kitchen (i.e. ice) and bathrooms but, agian, everything was clean and neat - my top priorities for a VRBO.

The host and rental was incredible! Kumail always answered questions quickly & was incredibly accommodating. The property itself was beautiful, clean and comfortable, & all amenities were efficient and ready to go. It felt like we were visiting a friends house from the moment we stepped into the house. We had a large group of friends and there was more than enough space for people to sleep and/or set up air mattresses. The large island in the kitchen is perfect to decorate & spacious enough where everyone can eat and vibe together. The back patio was the perfect spot to hangout at the end of the night. This location was not far from all the activities we planned in Seattle & Lynnwood so I would highly recommend if you have a large party. We definitely will be booking again in the future!
