Belfast, Maine
Enjoy all midcoast Maine has to offer by staying in an oceanfront home that's also walking distance from the shops and restaurants in downtown Belfast and just a short drive from well-known harbor's such as Camden and Rockland, where there's a major art museum, world famous restaurants and a small airport.
This modern home has spacious and oversized rooms, most leading out to the covered deck. There, you'll find a table seating 12 people, perfect for barbeques and lobster dinners with your own private view of the harbor and the twinkling lights from the boats.
Play pool in the game room or prepare lovely breakfasts and dinners in a large kitchen stocked with the best in supplies. Afterwards, have coffee on the front porch or sit by the fireplace in the cozy living room.
Three bedroom suites boast water views and private bathrooms, while two bedrooms - ready to sleep nine children - share a jack-and-jill bath.
The home is stocked with two kayaks and several bikes, but you can also venture down to the beach for a walk or jog to the City Park with tennis courts, a pool, a children's playground and pickle ball courts.
The house was a perfect place for the 10 of us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The 3 master suites worked out very well for our 2 adult daughters and spouses. Our 4 grand children had their choices of bedrooms and had plenty of space to play. The lower level theater room had ample floor space for games and watching iPads. We loved the spacious & well equipped kitchen. The large kitchen table easily accommodated the families at mealtime.
My kids and grandkids had a great time together in this beautiful vacation home. The water view of the bay from the kitchen, my bedroom, and the outdoor eating table was spectacular. The kitchen was well designed with two kitchen sinks, large refrigerator, dishwasher, lots of countertop space, with a large family breakfast table. I loved that the house has seven bathrooms. The house was well stocked with toiletries- toilet paper and paper towels. The only issue I and my family had was the A/C. There were thermostats throughout the house but they didn’t work. The temperature inside the house on the most part, despite the lack of the ability to adjust the thermostat, was comfortable. My bathroom sink’s hot water faucet was broken so no hot water. Just cold. Other than that, no complaints. I gave a rating of four stars instead of five due to the very few issues noted. We also LOVED being next door to Young’s Lobster Pound. The supermarkets are also close by. I would definitely comeback again.
We enjoyed a lot the stay in this property. The kitchen was very well equipped, the towels were good and enough, the room very nice. Things that I would change would be that the sheets and covers were run down, not well cleaned when we arrived. We washed all the covers of the beds the first day since they were either dirty, stained or full of animal hair. There was also a problem with the alarm going off for low temperature every day. I hope that was an issue easy to fix. Other than that, it was a very beautiful vacation time for me and my whole family. Thanks
Our trip to your house in Belfast was a huge success! The biggest element was your house, which we found to be a very delightful place to stay. Everything worked, and Eric was most helpful in all ways. We had excellent weather, and the house is perfectly located between Acadia and Waterville, where we got my granddaughter graduated. Thanks for letting us share this treasure of yours!
Great home for our family vacation with 6 adults and a 3 year old. Plenty of room to spread out or gather together. We enjoyed the views and spent lots of time on the outside deck overlooking the bay. Young's Lobster Pound was a memorable dining experience and our day trip to Acadia National Park was impressive. We utilized the large, updated kitchen for many meals and were happy to relax in the theater room after busy days of sight-seeing. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.
My family of 12 was wowed by this spacious, state-of-the-art home, right on the shore. We ate most meals at the huge table on the porch. There was a great ocean view from most rooms and the location was close to shops, restaurants and the grocery store, although you do need a car in this town, no public transportation. We also enjoyed the beautiful pool table they have. The listing is accurate and the manager was quick to respond to any questions. I would return and I would recommend this place to anyone. Be sure to eat at the nearby lobster pound (I can't think of it's name, but ask anyone in town).
My wife and I were in heaven when we were here. It is very secluded with only one other house on the road. The house itself is amazing; home theater room, pool table, hard wood floors and granite everywhere. If I could purchase the house from the owners, I would in a minute! The owners were very pleasant to deal with, great with communication and friendly which added to the relaxing atmosphere. Belfast is a typical coastal Maine town with lots of small shops and tourist attractions. Perry's Nuthouse is a MUST see! There is no way to go wrong if you rent this place. My wife and I are thinking of making it a annual stay.
