Modern Lakefront Home w/Fireplace near Ski Resort and Notre Dame

I could not have imagined a better home and location for a visit back to my hometown area. Shavehead lake is restful and beautiful, while the home provided all the amenities I required. Great communication with the property manager aided in making this feel like home. My dogs loved swimming and the large yard provided ample space to keep them busy. Loved this place and would recommend it to anyone seeking a wonderfully relaxing getaway.

Very nice clean home on a beautiful lake. Interior is clean and nicely decorated. Every thing would need to cook was there. Need to bring our own boat if you want to fish or do water sports.

Everything you could ask for and so much more. As a family with 2 year old twins we love exploring new locations and beyond city limits was everything we expected. Great location sitting right on the water watching the sunset on the water during the march madness weather of being cold and warm all at the same time. The fireplace inside was a great touch for the cold days and we experienced a taste of warm weather at the end where we could take out the very light and manageable kayak off the pier for a short ride in the water. We can’t wait to plan another trip in the warmer months so we can utilize all the great water activities that they offer from kayaks, paddle boards and a massive floating mat to jump / hang out on. Great getaway lake retreat with everything 15 - 20 mins away for some local eats and some nice hiking trails around camp friedenswald on the off season only 2 mins away. Also downtown Cassopolis about 15 mins from there has a very cool playground / skatepark / bmx pump track for kids all ages to ride or run around. Camp Friedennswald is pretty open to possibly let you visit just make sure to check in at office during camp season since it’s a lot busier then when we were visiting. Being that it was the off season the kids were able to play on the very cool treehouse playground on campgrounds. Also make sure to purchase your own firewood if planning to have a campfire outside Overall everything is extremely clean, well kept, and host was very helpful

The lake house on Shavehead Lake is a must stay. The patio, backyard, and pier are where we spent most of our time. The water around the pier is swimmable and has no seaweed. The home’s garage has paddle boards, kayaks, life jackets, a Lily pad, etc. We always found what we needed inside and outside of the home. We would definitely stay again! The lake was not overcrowded with boats throughout the weekend or weekdays.

Beautiful new house, big yard to play volleyball or soccer or fetch, great kitchen for cooking meals! We loved it. The lake is great - good for kayaking and all sports. The swans that we spotted were a treat. Loved having the garage available as an overflow area for coolers and extra stuff we brought. And wonderful to take a morning walk around the loop! We really enjoyed the house, the lake, and the area!

Beyond City Limits was a wonderful vacation site! Karla was very responsive and the property was beautiful. The cottage was well appointed and lacked absolutely nothing- from games/ toys/ kitchen supplies/ and even items for my dog. The neighborhood was peaceful for walking and biking. The cute little town of Cassopolis was near enough to eat out and buy groceries. Beyond City Limits was an Idyllic place for a week long lake vacation- thank you Karla!
