Modern Home in City - Game Room, Private Deck, Finished Basement

The neighborhood is being redone so there is a boarded house next to us and an empty lot on the other side. It is not in the best area of Atlanta. There was a house party 4 houses down for all 3 nights of our stay. There were 2 times I caught a random person trying to charge their cell phone on our front porch. The dish washer smelled really bad and leaked during our stay. The TV downstairs is broken and the pool table is missing pieces. The back deck railing is not secure and will wiggle when you push on it, this should get fixed as it was a HUGE safety concern to me.

The home was unclean. We had to clean before being able to enjoy. Sheets unclean and the bathrooms especially the tub. The front porch wa beautiful but the ceiling is full of spiders we could not enjoy. I sent a message with concern to not get a response. But received communication about check out procedures. I’m extremely disappointed in this listing as I was there to take my daughter to college and wanted a place for me and my family to relax. I did take pictirea

We were not in Atlanta during these dates, but we did reserve this house July 1-3. We did not stay here 12 hours, but moved to a hotel instead. It will be a very nice house when they finish remodeling it. Right now there is one good bathroom, and one mediocre bedroom. The kitchen and living spaces look nice. The other rooms are not renovated yet. The walls need painting. If one does not know this neighborhood, one doesn’t know not to book here. We depend on VRBO for that. It is not a safe place, judging by the Charley bar door locks, the appearance of neighboring houses, and the condition of public spaces.

The house is beaitkfum, and easy to get to. It made for a very nice quick trip for my colleagues and i!However, as soon as we left, the property owner was billing me for a flooded bathroom thay was very clearly not flooded when we left. They said a plummer had to snake the drain, and it had a clog build up. Tjat is not something we woukd be at fault for, since the house was clean and well respected in our care.

Arriving at the property, the neighborhood looked kind of sketchy but I knew what it would be, due to the research I'd done before booking, but it's an up and coming neighborhood and overall it was very quiet and there aren't any neighbors on both sides. The property looked just like the pictures. Walking in, I noticed how spacious it was. There was complimentary water and snacks. There are more than enough bathrooms and bedrooms. I could definitely see the potential in the property. The double shower was my favorite. I loved the private deck listening to the birds and watching planes take off and land They were close enough to watch but far enough to not make too much noise and disturb the peace. The basement was perfect for my kids. The blinds by the bed should be replaced but it didn't stop my daughter from sleeping there. I felt very safe with the alarm system and door locks. We visited the zoo which was only 12 minutes away and went to the movies which was 11 minutes away. My family was highly satisfied with everything, booking, checking in and out, getting on and off of the property, the overall stay. My only concern was cleanliness for future guests. My family enjoyed this home. We were comfortable and appreciate being the host's first guest in this new renovated property.
