Modern Flagstaff Home w/ BBQ: Walk Downtown!

Modern, well appointed home in a quiet neighborhood.

The location was fantastic. The home itself was immaculate, well stocked, and the beds were very comfortable. It’s a little inconvenient that there’s no garage door opener. You have to either park in the very steep driveway (your car WILL drag) or send someone in the door and through the house to open the garage for you. I get it. I can’t imagine how many renters would drive off with the door opener still in their car. So I don’t blame the property owner for this choice. I’m just saying it’s a little inconvenient. Overall, the property was perfect for my family, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!!

The home was very comfortable . All things in order . No complaints . The garage has a steep slope to drive up and it will be a good idea to just keep garage clearance displayed as people like me who drive a bigger car might get worried with the 40 degree slope going into the garage .

I usually have good experiences with VRBO hosts, but this stay was less than desirable. Pros: 1) The kitchen appears to be recently remodeled and it was well stocked. 2) The home had A/C, a plus given the warmer climate in AZ. 3) The noise level in the house was good despite this condo being close to Hwy 40 (but, noise from the Hwy in the backyard is bad). 4) Comfortable bed in Master Bedroom.Cons: 1) The upstairs has carpet and it was FILTHY with many stains in the hallway and all the bedrooms (I texted the owner on this issue and he said there was not a way to have the carpets cleaned for us as the carpet would not dry.....well, I know there are cleaning chemical products available on the market that are dry in their composition and these could have been used to properly clean the carpet). 2) There was a pieced together transition strip that was raised up and a trip hazard between the Kitchen tile floor and the Family Room laminate floor. I texted the owner on this issue and he sent out a handyman who simply nailed down the transition strip where it was elevated. Another section of this transition strip came loose the day we were checking out! The proper fix would have been to simply remove this three piece transition strip and replace it with one single piece transition strip from home depot or another retailer. 3) Two smoke alarm detectors in the condo went off - one at 3am...so I removed the batteries. Hello owner/host - change the batteries regularly!

Great stop if you are planning a day trip to the Grand Canyon. Clean, well stocked kitchen and nice location in Flagstaff.

Welcoming host, cute townhome in quiet neighborhood. We didn’t really think it was walkable to downtown but maybe there is a shortcut we didn’t know about. It appeared really clean but it had a weird smell and we found a comb with hair in it in the bunk bed. It has a little backyard and a garage with bikes and games to enjoy which was nice. The pictures are very accurate.

The place was well equipped, because we were staying so we could hike, it would have been nice to have an ice maker. Also the smoke alarm was beeping the last night and we could not disable it, so we had a poor nights sleep. But the overall accommodations were so nice we would use it again!

Very nice two story condo. Wish we would have had time to use the beautiful patio. Good communication with the host.

The overall appearance of the townhouse was neat and tidy. Although it could use a little more attention to detail. The baseboards were dirty, the carpet had some stains and when a foot stool was moved it was very dirty underneath. A more thorough cleaning was needed. The smaller bathroom upstairs was a very odd space with how the door swung into the small space. It was well equipped with everything that was needed in the kitchen area. In the description it says walk downtown, that was very deceptive because you can’t just walk to the downtown. It’s 3 miles away on busy roads. Our overall stay was still good!

Great property, clean, and updated! There was no office or desk space on site, but rooms were great. Very close to NAU, quiet neighborhood, and beautiful trees.

The house was nice and we enjoyed our weekend. It was stocked with all of the necessities. If I had to be picky the baseboards could be cleaned and under the ottoman could have been swept up. All in all we enjoyed the indoor and outdoors of this house.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is clean and cozy. Everything went smoothly, and we hope to stay here again the next time we visit Flagstaff! Thank you so much!

Townhouse is located in quiet neighborhood and in a convenient location with easy access to the major highways to explore the area surrounding Flagstaff.

The home was just as described, beautiful, comfortable, and clean. We enjoyed our stay there and would use it again if we’re ever in that area.

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Modern Flagstaff Home. The accommodations were beautiful and thoughtfully arranged—everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The space had everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to cozy touches, and everything worked perfectly during our stay. It made for a relaxing and enjoyable visit, and we’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The property was clean and cozy. It was exactly as pictured. Our kids have been dying to see the Grand Canyon and this place was perfect. The home was comfortable and felt like a home. It had everything we needed. There as a minor issue with the heat, the control got locked. The host was able to reset it from his phone and take the lock off. The only thing I would warn is to watch the driveway. It was very steep. The garage is available to use, which we used. The catch is you have to open the garage from inside (safety reasons). I would get out and open the garage through the house and my husband would pull the car in. When you back down the driveway, be careful you don’t go too fast so you don’t hit your bumper on the ground. This sounds like a lot but it really wasn’t bad. This is just a word of caution and so you’re prepared. The overall stay was perfect. If we are ever in Flagstaff again this would be my first choice to stay.

The home was very nice and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. It was nice coming back to a comfortable home after a day at the Grand Canyon. The owner was quick to respond to a few questions we had and was very kind.

Well managed and clean- very nice to find out that if it snows (because it did) they have a contract to shovel snow on driveway and sidewalk. Convenient location and everything you need to feel at home.

This home is conveniently located especially to allow day trips to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. Well maintained and well stocked with everything you need.

Loved this house and felt so homey. It was the perfect location for us to spend time with our NAU student for family weekend and so comfortable and cozy.

We were pleasantly surprised with the ease of check-in, as well as the amount of space and nice, clean kitchen. We really enjoyed how close this townhouse is to the downtown area. As others have stated, the driveway and stairs are steep. Overall, we really liked this townhouse.
