The guest house was clean, cozy and quiet. It featured a modern open concept design with serene artwork on the walls. I especially liked the big bathtub, comfy couch and kitchen stocked with utensils. Check-in was simple, but we had to read the check-out instructions a few times on our way out. The property offers peaceful views of a meadow and, although we did not utilize the firepit, the patio was a pleasant area to sit and watch the sunset. The backroad lavender farm atmosphere, complete with dogs and cats roaming around, only added to the charm. It was perfect for a weekend getaway for two and located a short drive from the quaint town of Paso Robles.
The location is great and not far from all that Central California is all about. But at the same time, you get to enjoy the quiet and peacefulness of the farmland of the area with a whole list of wineries a short drive away. But even staying in and cooking and having some wine was very pleasant for it is a comfortable place with a really nice space in the back for BBQ and just warming up next to a gas fire. I think this place is best for couples with or without kids. The hosts are very welcoming and their kindness is seen in the way they care for this rental.
Stayed here with my son for a wedding in Cambria (20 min drive). Great looking place - well-appointed. The pictures are accurate. All the touches are tasteful, including nice art on the walls, and coffee table books to browse. Layout and size is perfect for couple, or 2+1 (w/ comfortable daybed). Layout is very open with lots of windows looking out at oaks and fields (and some lavender, depending on the time of year). Bathroom is all modern, kitchen full and functional. Bed and linens very comfortable. Bonus: Cute collies and (outside) cats! We were in and out for a family wedding, but I could definitely see staying here longer for a Paso wine tour. It is in the heart of the Rte 46 area wineries. It's also an easy and pretty drive to Cambria and Hearst Castle. Great stay! Highly Recommend the Modern Farmhouse!
Our stay was the exact escape we needed for a long weekend. The house is modern and clean. The location is remote while being close to HWY 1.
Very relaxing and spacious modern farmhouse in Paso Robles area. Easy drive into town and close to all of the wineries. Great place to stay.
We had a fantastic stay in Paso! The home is beautiful & centrally located to literally all of the wineries in the area. The host, Ally, was so wonderful & made us feel so comfortable. Highly recommend this property & owner! Simply the Best! ✨
This was a great property for an easy 5 night getaway in the beautiful Paso Robles area. The property was beautiful, spacious, well equipped and close to lots of awesome areas of interest. Check-in and check-out was super easy and Allyson was a great host. Highly recommended!
My husband and wanted a VRBO rental near our family who live in Templeton. It was only 10 minutes away on a lavender farm surrounded by oaks and vineyards. It was also a convenient location to go wine tasting as many tasting rooms are located close by. Ally and Bryce, the owners, were very friendly, helpful, and responsive. The unit was stocked with everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay.
As we had to cancel our planned trip to Denmark we decided to take a break in CA. We have never been to the central coast area so decided that Paso Robles area would be a good base. The cottage was just as shown in the pictures, it was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was peaceful and we enjoyed morning tea and evening wine on the patio overlooking the hills. We spent days along the charming local beach towns and nights dining in town. Also went wine tasting. A highlight was visiting Montaña. Del Oro park where the views of the coastline were amazing. The hosts checked in with us and ensured we had everything we needed. We would certainly return .
Truly perfect house to spend a week of relaxation and disconnection from the urban stress. I know it sounds cliché, but it's really that good. The house was bigger and even better than we expected. Ally was a great host. Can't recommend this enough!
This getaway with our two children was just what we were looking. Clean, bright, and new guest home. I appreciated how it was filled not filled with excessive “stuff” and instead offered a simple elegance. A great winery was right next door. Owners were very gracious. Hope to come back again.
the property is just as it is portrayed. Quaint and polished with everything in its place. The setting is gorgeous, I only regret I didn't get to play with their dogs!
