Modern Designer Beach House 1 mile to the beach! Pet-friendly & bright

The house is very nice. It has many amenities, the appliances are high grade, it is very nicely decorated, and there is a great selection of books as well as other thoughtful touches. There might possibly have been some confusion as just my husband , dog and I were originally coming , but we were joined part of the time by my sister in law. We gave her the downstairs bedroom, and everything on the ground floor was perfect. However, we then took the upstairs bedroom, where the bed was not made and we had to find sheets ( we did!) and make the bed. Also, the tub in that bathroom was not clean ( a bar of soap adhered to the bottom and some stains, which we cleaned up. )Finally, the back door was not locked— we locked it. As I mentioned, the ground floor was perfect; it just seemed that no one was expected to stay upstairs, so maybe the rooms weren’t made up? We did enjoy our stay.

This place served as the perfect “home base” during our stay as it provided easy access to Warren Dunes and several local breweries. We enjoyed seeing the deer in the back yard everyday as well!

This home has a lot going for it. The location is fantastic—minutes from Warren Dunes and close to 94 without feeling like you’re right on top of the highway. The interior layout is lovely, and the California king bed was wonderfully comfortable.A few things to be aware of: the tree next to the house gives squirrels easy access to the roof, and they were pretty active (and loud!) over the upper bedroom. I also found a handful of lady beetles inside, and there was some dog hair left on the couch. The outside space could use a little freshening up to match the inviting feel indoors.Overall, a pleasant stay with great potential if a few details are tightened up.

Clean, comfy and well stocked home located centrally to many area attractions. Host communicated well

Close to Warren Dunes State Park. Went to New Buffalo for restaurants. Firepit out back did not have firewood and chairs were upside down upon arrival. The home was newly renovated and everything was comfortable. They want you to wash sheets and leave in the dryer upon departure. Take out trash and throw all the towels near laundry machine.

The location of this property was on a lovely and quiet road. We especially loved seeing the deer in the backyard. We were literally 3 minutes away from Warren Dunes State Park ( our primary destination). We brought our dog and the house was perfectly suited for pets. The decor was tasteful and contemporary. The bedrooms were beautifully appointed and the bathrooms felt like a spa. There were many books, games and puzzles, as well as 50 inch tv. I would HIGHLY recommend this property for anyone who is looking for a relaxing atmosphere surrounded by adorable little towns.

House was recently remodeled and very clean. Street is very quiet overall. Traffic from nearby highway is audible but not visible. House would benefit from some beach accessories: umbrella, chairs, cooler, towels. Also some more towel hooks in the bathrooms would be helpful.

Stayed with family - including 3 year old and older small dog. Super convenient to Warren Dunes State Park (beaches and hiking trails) - there is a dog beach a the far end of the parking lots. Easy access to coffee shop (loved Infusco), restaurants (loved Susan's) and Sawyer Garden Home center - which has terrific fruit veggies and all your grocery and most beach needs. On a quiet low traffic cul-de-sac too. Very comfortable stay!

Great location, so easy to get everywhere. House and layout - super cute, comfortable and clean, hostess was great to work with. This is certainly not a big deal or a dealbreaker, but a little suggestion - big plant and stand behind the sofa could be moved out to provide more space. Would recommend for sure!! Thank you

This property was very comfortable and had all the fixings of home--extra blankets, pillows, plenty of dishes, great coffee making supplies and more. The homey-ness was much appreciated after a long day of playing at the beach.

We had a perfect stay! Location was 10 minutes to DC Cook Nuclear plant. When you work 12 hour shifts, you really want to be close like this!We had no issues with the residence. Will definitely try to stay here next time we are in town.
