Stayed Aug 8, 2025This was the perfect stay for a family that loves going to kiptopeake! It was a bike ride or walk away. There amount of space was perfect when traveling with three kids one being a teen. They had everything to allow us to cook dinner at home each night we chose to. The host was super responsive with any questions we had. We would stay again when we come back down to cape Charles.

Stayed Jun 14, 2025Overall, this rental is a nice home with most of what a vacationer to the area could ask for. The kitchen was spacious enough to cook and eat meals comfortably and the living room provided ample room to relax. There are, however, a few things that need to be addressed for a more enjoyable stay. First, the 2nd floor AC needs to be improved as one of the rooms does not have a unit and relies on keeping the door open to the hallway with a fan to push cold air from a small window unit in the middle hallway. Secondly, the owner should consider adding an outdoor grill as a feature as most summer vacationers like to grill. Lastly, if you plan on bringing a boat that has any sort of height to it (like a tower or T-top) the power line along the road at the front of the driveway hangs dangerously low making parking a truck and boat trailer a chore and for longer trailers, not possible. While not the fault of the owner of the home, this is something a renter with a boat should consider and something the owner should address with the town or county.

Stayed Aug 11, 2024Small but very nice house. House is a bit old but remodelled. House was clean and convenient for our family trip to Kitopeke Park. The onky downside is there's only one bathroom. We had to coordinate the bathroom usage but no one complained. We will definitely come back. Thanks!

Stayed Jun 27, 2024Too hot upstairs . Needs an elongated toilet instead of a round front toilet . Great location . Nice home !
