This cabin is beautiful! It has all of the amenities we were looking for. Very quiet. We even saw a doe with her 2 babies in the morning.
The house was great, hot tub and fireplace really made the experience awesome.
It was a nice space for a small group and it was really nice that the kitchen was pretty well stocked. Only thing we didn’t find was a can opener. The hot tub was great! But the beds were all very firm and not the comfiest to sleep on. The tvs were also not very user friendly, it took some troubleshooting to get the living room tv to work and we didn’t really see an easy way to connect it to our devices (fire stick) but it did have cable and worked well once we figured it out. Overall, we had a very good time here, would consider booking here again.
Loved the property but very difficult to find even with Google maps. The address number is not posted on the road and the access road says private indicating dont enter. We called the property manager for help locating it and got no help. But once we found it everything was as advertised and we had an amazing time
Crimson and Stone is a cozy cabin in a semi-secluded location down a private drive. I love the open concept living area and the upstairs loft and comfortable king size bed. It is well stocked with towels, dishes, utensils, hand-soap and shower products ( I love the Mrs. Meyers and ECO products). There is a new washer and dryer which works perfectly. It is great to be able to do laundry when necessary. I love the gas range and outside grill for cooking. The wireless works well and there is a television and DVD player upstairs and downstairs, which is wonderful if you want to watch something while sitting in bed. The cabin was very clean and check-in was easy. I will definitely stay here again.
The home is spacious with decor that is forest themed. There is a real wood fireplace in the living room! The kitchen is well stocked in the bedrooms have lots of pillows and warm blankets. The hot tub was therapeutic and in a semi private space. Vacasa was very responsive to our requests. We will definitely consider staying there again.
Real nice house and great location however, check before you reserve that everything is working. The cable tv, hot tub, and dryer did not work when we got there. Day 3 of 7 they came and fixed the cable. The dryer and hot tub needed parts or replacement. Nobody at Vacasa talks to anyone else about any communications that have happened. The cleaner when we were leaving was writing up the hot tub as not working and I had to explain that all of that had already been reported. I think a little maintenance would really help. Batteries in the remotes, garbage bags on the deck, deep clean the bathrooms, and maybe some new furniture would make it worth the price we paid. We had a lot of fun, but it sure would have been nicer to come home from the mountain to a hot tub!
As other reviews have mentioned, GPS does not take you to the cabin. Best advice is to turn left into the unmaintained dirt road that is immediately in front of a mailbox for “DALE.” This shared unmaintained road is not plowed or salted, is narrow with numerous potholes and overhanging branches… I’m not sure a smaller car could make it back to the cabin. The cabin itself looks very similar to the photos with a few minor changes in decor. Most furniture is due to repair or replacing and there is an unpleasant odor as someone else previously mentioned. As of January 17, the dryer is broken and the only working TV is the living room one (it has sound issues but is usable). Overall we were happy with the close proximity to stores and Mt Hood.
Cabin was as it was described and pictured online. Great place for my family with plenty of room and the hot tub was great! About 20 minutes from the snow so it’s perfect if you only have one car that can handle the snowy terrain. I would stay here again.
Cabin was perfect for our get-a-way. Had one issue that was addressed right away. Loved the fireplace and hot tub. Will definitely stay here again. Finding it was a bit tricky and appreciated the other comments to turn left at the Dale mailbox. There is also a private property sign on the tree. You just follow dirt road to the end.
