Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I took my family of 6 (5 adults and one child) on a 4-night stay at Apres Sea. Working with Benchmark was refreshing as they were good in communicating ahead of time about policies, check-in/out procedures, and where to go for help. The rental was very nice, set back down a long path off of 30A. The golf cart is a must, especially if you are carrying good to the beach. The pool is nice and a 30-second walk from the unit. Good quality but basic amenities including coffee maker (key) and all cooking utensils. Beds were comfortable and every room had a TV with access to streaming apps for you to use. Internet access/wifi was solid. We did have an issue with the disposal in the sink and the TVs randomly turning on during the night, but no other problems to note. Could have used some better direction in knowing where the beach access was, but outside of that, it was simple. Beach was great, chairs were easy to secure if not a little expensive but what can you do? Would definitely recommend to others, particularly for the price.

But the floors were not mopped and we had dirty feet from them. Also, there were no oven mits in the kitchen. And only 2 or 3 kitchen dish cloths.

Location was great and the golf cart made getting to the beach easy. There is golf cart parking both at the private and public beach entrance. The neighborhood was quiet and calm, and the pool was clean and a nice reprieve from the beach. Having temperature control on both floors was a plus. Kitchen was appointed with everything you’d need for a beach vacation, except for a cutting board. Would, and most likely will, stay again!

We loved our stay. The golf cart was a great addition to take to and from the beach and the house was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Close to the pool but not too close. Be prepared the house is not stocked. There was no soap in some of the bathrooms, only one roll of toilet paper etc, so bring extras if you are staying a bit. Overall, great house and location.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay in this rental. Overall, the home is beautiful. There are some maintenance issues that need attending to including a moldy washing machine & cleaning & filter replacement that needs to happen with kitchen appliances. These were the same issues present the year prior & we alerted the company to then as well. The golf cart is a nice addition but needs to be serviced as it was obvious that the previous tenants had been driving on a flat tire. When we alerted management, we were first told that they didn’t service the golf cart. They did eventually send a service truck to fill the tire with air. Once we were home, 3 weeks later, we were notified that the house was missing 6 of the bracelets that are used for proof that you stay in the neighborhood. As we stayed the year before with no need for such bracelets, we did not worry about how many were missing at the time we arrived as they are simply plastic bands. We have now been told that we will be charged $25 for each that we are unable to return. We will not be renting here again. Just be sure to take inventory of everything in the house to be able to prove what is & is not there when you arrive. The rental company sent me a picture of their pre arrival inspection but without a time or date stamp to prove when it was taken. I am not impressed with Benchmark’s handling of the rental. 50 Cent bracelets are not worth losing a customer who alerted you to major maintenance issues to save the homeowners from expensive repairs. Good luck with future rentals. I will not do business with Benchmark again.

The screened in porch was additional conversation space and perfect for watching the rain one evening.we had 7 adults and 5 kids from 2 years old to 17 years old and we had comfortable sleeping spaces and great kitchen spaces. We loved it!!
