The house is really cute. And the neighborhood is wonderful. That being said... the house wasn't dirty, but it definitely wasn't clean. There were dust bunnies under all the furniture (even the tall stuff that should have been easy to sweep under). It would have been really nice if the backyard had been swept, cleaned up, or taken care of before my stay to feel like the space was more usable. The patio, table, chairs and grill were all covered in dust, pollen, leaves, and cobwebs. My biggest complaint is the automatic light in the side yard that isn't able to be turned off, which shines into both bedrooms the entire night, even with the blinds and curtains drawn. Both are quite sheer and don't block light at all. Heavier curtains would have been really appreciated. If you're a light sleeper, bring an eye mask.

Amazing stay in a quiet neighborhood! The check-in process was seamless and the property had everything we needed. It was kid friendly which is huge for us. Would definitely recommend if you are planning to be around mid or downtown Sacramento!

We were really happy to find a small home for our family of 3 to spend a few nights visiting another family in Sacramento. It was really nice to be in a quiet neighborhood where they could easily get us (they lived a little over a mile away). It’s was a good amount of space and exactly what we needed for quick breakfast and snacks.

My husband and I visited our daughters and friends in Sacramento for a week and this rental was the perfect home base. Close to whatever we wanted to do downtown and easy access to the freeway. The decor is tasteful and there is plenty of space. As a former Sacramento resident I was concerned about potential noise related to the location but was pleasantly surprised as to how quiet it was. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a few family meals and we were able to watch the Olympics in comfort. Will definitely try to book this one for any upcoming visits!
