Our steak was amazing for the BOA grand nationals, but I had older adults with me and the stairs weren’t as mentioned in the listing as they should’ve been and there’s only two TVs in the entire house but other than that, we had a great time and if we came, if we come back, we’ll give it another try

Old house. Slanted floors. No screens in the windows. Flimsy doorknobs.Walls and baseboards had food and dirt on them. Couldn't find pot holders. No small spoons. Most of the cookware is outdated and showing signs of wear/ rust. Couches uncomfortable in the living room. Bathroom on third floor you step out onto the steps. We were kept up at night all weekend with the people who rented the attached unit next to us. They were blasting music, yelling and smoking weed on the rear deck. Messaged host and pretty much nothing done about it. So much for the zero tolerance policy for complaints. It continued all weekend so we got minimal sleep. Would not stay here again.

Our stay in this clean and comfortable dwelling was great. An abundance of towels was provided, the washer and dryer came in handy and the kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed the close proximity to restaurants and shops. And was only a few blocks from one my favorite independent bookstores, The Whispering Shelf.

The home was a nice location. The beds were fine. The home could use a good carpet clean. The 3rd floor bedroom has steep stairs. The shower is in the actual bedroom. The stairs are very close to the bathroom so you need to watch when you step out. There is a lot of construction going on next door. There is a full remodel going on. The owner can't do anything about this but be aware because the workers are walking right up against the downstairs windows. We found nails in the drive and there was a big truck blocking one way of the ally to where we could park, but went around the other way. Once again we know that the owner has no control but just be aware -- you can get in a different way to the back parking area.

This was our 2nd time here. We love the accessibility to the events we came for. Overall it is a lovely home. the only complaint we had was the upstaires bath did not have body wash, i couldnt get it from the downstairs because bottles are attached to wall. A significant minor problem. Host is overall very responsive. place is old, rehab is well done. We love the ability to cook and the kitchen is well stocked. It is clean and again well located. The coffee shop, The Alchemist, (1/2 block away) is exquisite with a daily visit from us.

We were in town for a tradeshow at the Convention Center and this home was perfectly located only about 12 minutes away with traffic. The beds were extremely comfortable and everything was very clean. We would definitely stay here again the next time we're in town.

Me and two girlfriends enjoyed staying here when we ran the Monumental Half in downtown Indy. We weren't far from downtown and there was a ton of space. We appreciated that parking was really easy behind the house and a Kroeger is close. The living room was comfy for movies at night and both of us on the 2nd floor found the beds to be SO COMFORTABLE which is always a plus when you're away from home. I appreciated the soap/shampoo/conditioner in the bathrooms too. It was a great stay here!

We didn’t need to spend too much time at the VRBO, but when we were there, it was great. Definitely has some slants in the flooring in a few spots so felt a bit old, but beds were comfortable, clean, and we liked the cute, quiet neighborhood. It was perfect for what we needed!

A cool old house that has been modernized. I would really like to be able to use the cast iron fireplace during my next visit. Maybe upgrade it to an electric or gas insert?
