Modern 2 bedroom villa with a private pool

The cons of this house are : The housekeeper was great she kept the place spotless, was very friendly and did our laundry for us The pool was pretty at night. The upstairs patio was nice for sunsets! Ramona never greeted us nor asked us how our 9 day stay was going. The pool/maintenance guy let us in and we were on our own to figure out the house. The 10 foot by 4 foot window in first floor bedroom right over the pool is shattered and has been that way for a very long time! The pool is not in the sun at all so it is freezing cold !! The house has absolutely no provisions I left some spices and other cooking items not sure if they were left for the next renters. The kitchen is minimally stocked You absolutely can not see in the bathrooms do to the fact the tiny can lights are up so high I had to go into kitchen or living area to put my makeup on Most of the blinds in the house don’t work properly The bed is on the floor and the furniture is extremely low to the ground as pictured but we are both 6 feet tall so getting in and out of sofa and bed was a task There is no ladder or steps to get into the pool so that is tricky getting in and out you need to be agile ! There is no laundry facility but you can pay the housekeeper to do it. There is no barbecue grill! We have been renting through VRBO for 15 years and I’m sorry but this was a big disappointment to me especially because we just spent 6 weeks in a house on Maya beach that was spectacular but was already rented for our last 9 days. Just down the road you can rent a house with spectacular pool on the beach for $500 keep looking !

Would highly recommend renting the villa. I’m very picky when it comes to choosing locations and I have 0 complaints nor would I change anything about our stay. I was surprised the cost wasn’t more.
