Minutes to Galena. Bird Cottage @ Sorriso Vineyard Galena Illinois

This was a beautiful, clean and very cozy home. Made for a perfect weekend getaway with 2 dogs! Will definitely be returning back to this property in the future.

Quiet area

Such a great home! Very clean and inviting and liked that the cleaning leaving checklist was not at all daunting! Felt so good to stay there!

Really nice property. Check in/out was a breeze. The home itself was very nice and clean, also larger than expected. The outside area was spectacular. We arrived after dark so we couldn’t see anything that night. But the next morning we woke up to an amazing view of the misty hollow and rolling hills, cows mooing in the distance, hummingbirds flitting about, and a couple of bunnies milling about in the yard. We spent morning on the deck, went into Galena during the day, and spent the evenings by the fire pit. So relaxing and enjoyable. Would highly recommend!

What a beautiful property! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location is great, being close to Galena. The views are amazing, overlooking the valley, hearing the cows in the distance. Loved all of the birds, which entertained us during the whole stay. We will be back soon!

This is our third time visiting and we can always count on a comfortable stay. The home is cozy, delicately appointed and offers the best views in the Galena area.

This was my first VRBO and I couldn’t be happier. I was in love with the country style of the home inside and the FANTASTIC views outside. The bird s, including a wild turkey, were so fun to watch and listen to. You’re set back so you don’t hear the road. sooooo peaceful. Inside, there’s literally everything you need. Towels, utensils, dishes and glassware and more. There was even ice and chilled beer mugs in the freezer. The beds were super comfy and I am picky trust me. Plenty of storage for your clothes. The pool table was fun! It was too windy to use the grill or firepit but they looked very inviting. Staying there gave me the comfort you feel when you visit a family member that makes you feel at home. To top it off there was a complementary bottle of red wine from their vineyard. I usually get headaches from red wine. Not this one! He also gave us a bottle of rose that we will have at Easter tomorrow Don’t wait. Book this now!

This is our second time at this property and plan to stay again. Less then a few hours from home, it is a perfect getaway. We love the quietness and serene surroundings, and spending a day in nearby historic Galena.

Beautiful property. Remote but close to town. Wonderful hearing the birds chirping. The home was wonderful. Clean, cozy and serene! Will be back!

The only thing that we were surprised at was by how fast the turn came up for the house, but once we flew by one time, we were prepared and it was easy to find after that.It is a very cute, clean and cozy place. I was wishing we were there in nicer weather as the view is spectacular, and the fire pit and grill area were very nice.Loved the paths that were mown into the field for easy exploring.It was a very easy distance to town, and everything about our stay was just easy.

Everything about this property was cozy, and the view is breathtaking. Would definitely recommend if you don't mind being off the beaten path outside of town. It's worth the little extra drive for the peaceful setting.

The home is fantastic! Especially enjoyed the firepit and outdoor seating, plus the view! Beds were very comfortable. Pool table is a plus!

The property was beautiful! It was better than expected.So much greenery and very peaceful. We got a beautiful picture of kids with rainbow in back of house. Lots of memories were made. We were also so happy that the property was away from any other properties.

Wonderful views, clean, great inside and out. The sunrise, vineyard and rolling hills views were wonderful. The owner was very kind to stop by and make sure we received a bottle of the wine he made from the grapes in the Vineyard. I could stay there for weeks.

Perfect get a way for my husband and myself. We enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the views.
