Stayed Mar 31, 2026My family spent three fantastic nights at Clayton's place, and love it. It was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the Outer Banks. The great room is nice an big, light colors and lots to sunshine coming in through the sliding doors. The deck was plenty wide for watching sunsets, lounging and watching the stars (we brought our telescope). You can see the sound from the deck. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfy, modern and ready for us when we arrived. We especially loved the hot tub and sofa area under the house. It was private, but still let in sunshine and the breeze. The outdoor projector and screen is such a great bonus.Clayton is so great, and was incredibly responsive to every question we had. Location-wise, this was ideal for us. Just a few minutes to Jockey's Ridge area, restaurants and shopping in one direction; yet we could get to Coquina Beach out in South Nags Head in less than 15 minutes. Super trip!

Stayed Mar 20, 2026The place was cute and conveniently located. Kitchen was well stocked with tools. Everything was also super clean- there wasn't even a trace of previous guests! My friends brought dogs and they enjoyed being able to hang out with us. We had some trouble hooking onto the wifi, but the host was super responsive and helped us out.

Stayed Feb 13, 2026This house was absolutely perfect for our stay. The projector by the hot tub made for the best movie night — such a fun and unique touch! Honestly, I can’t think of a single negative thing to say about this place. Clayton was incredibly responsive; I had a quick question about the hot tub and he replied within a minute or two. The location is fantastic, and the sound view from the deck was absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Stayed Mar 13, 2025We had a wonderful time staying at the Outer Banks. House was wonderful & kids loved the hot tub! Location was fantastic and owner provided excellent recommendations for places to eat and check out. Even went out of their way to have the cleaning crew look for a lost item for us after we left.
