Minnesota Point Beach House 1-Spectacular Lake Superior View

This is an excellent place to stay. The rooms upstairs were larger than I expected and the view of the lake from the main bedroom was spectacular. There is direct access to the beach from the backyard. The kitchen was well equipped.

Our stay was fantastic! Hosts did a great job. Nice to have the beach there, but no fault to owners, there's a fence in front of the rental placed by the city; it hindered the beauty and our access to the water after sauna. And we'd hoped to have a fire to roast marshmallows; not sure why that's not permitted (?). But we really enjoyed a sunrise beach walk and seeing the Queen of the Lakes, Paul R. Tregurtha, come into port. Great experience! We enjoyed our stay.

Amazing view of the lake with direct walk out to the beach! Just right across the lift bridge from Canal Park.The house is clean and offers all the basics of home such as linens, pots and pans, silverware, cleaning supplies.The owners are always a delight to work with and very responsive! I will for sure be renting again.

Terrific location. Walkable to Canal Park. We enjoyed the beach and front porch. Beautiful views and lots of windows. Appreciated the amenities like washer and dryer. Local family in town for a wedding. Will stay again!

We had such a great weekend at the Beach House - 1. This was our second time staying at this house, We have previously stayed at the Beach House 5. Beach House 1 is a great location! It's a quick walk to the bridge and Canal Park. My kids had so much fun at the beach. Heather is a great host and responds quickly to questions. We will be back!

The house was very clean and updated. It was right on the beach, which my kids loved! Super close to canal park and we walked there several times. We are already talking about re-booking this home for next summer!

Beautifully appointed quaint cottage with fun amenities. Loved the games downstairs and the beach access from the back door. Fantastic location close to fun bars and restaurants in Duluth. We had a blast!

We were in town for UMD graduation so we didn’t get to spend a ton of time at the house however it had a very well stocked kitchen, towels wash clothes etc The home was very clean. The beach was an added bonus! The beach itself was very clean and we enjoyed the time we spent there. It was perfect for 4 people. We hope to go back on our next trip to Duluth.

Very convenient, clean and fun place to stay!

We've stayed in this house a few times, both during the summer and winter. It's clean and cozy, and a perfect location for anything you want to do in Duluth. This December trip to visit Bentleyville was cold, very wet and cloudy, but it's always a delight to be so close to Lake Superior!

The house and views of Lake Superior were phenomenal. The home is a short walk to Canal Park. Wish we had booked it for longer!

Property is well kept with great view of lake and shipping arriving and departing Duluth harbor. Owners communication with guests is very good. Location is convenient to downtown Duluth.

This place is wonderful! It was clean, comfortable and easily accommodated four adults. It was stocked with everything we needed. We were up for a family wedding in downtown Duluth and it was a short drive away. The weather was beautiful and we spent time on the deck, the sandy beach and swimming in Lake Superior. We walked the beach to the lift bridge and happened to see the Viking cruise ship as it was leaving port. It was a great long weekend and we would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful time! The house was clean, comfortable and more that enough room for thee 3 of us. The backyard was under renovation, but was no bother to us. The owner came by and explained what was going on and asked when he could work on it. The renovation made beach access much easier and made it really easy to enjoy the view from the kitchen. This house is easily walking distance to the lift bridge (about 5 min). The beds were very comfortable. There is public beach access nearby but it wasn’t overly crowded even with festivals and hot weather in the area. A++ we will rent this place again!

This house is a clean, well maintained and throughly updated home, with a deck and private yard , that is steps away from the beach and Lake Superior. I can look at the ever changing lake just over the fenced in yard in the kitchen and from the upstairs bedroom. I love to open the bedroom windows in the living evening and listen to the waves lapping the shore. We have enjoyed 4 yearly visits with out grandchildren . The beach is so safe with extended shallow water to play in.
