Great open space with lots of room for our whole family. The bathrooms downstairs were a little tight for our handicapped parent and there were some water stains on the ceiling but the house itself was clean and had some extra things like soap and laundry detergent that we could use. The private beach was also amazing and is one of the only beach access areas I’ve seen in cape Charles that has an accessibility mat so the wheelchair could get all the way to the water. We loved our stay and would definitely book again!

The house was spacious and furniture was comfortable. The house was listed as sleeping 14 and 3.5 bathrooms. On arrival, we were given 2 rolls of toilet paper, one trash bag, 2 small bottles of shampoo, one bar of soap. During one night, the smoke alarms blared for 10 seconds every hour. Maintenance changed the batteries the next day, but alarms still continued to go off. The security system had to be turned off to prevent further alarms. The kitchen was ill equipped: no can opener, no bottle opener, no colander. 6 wine glasses were provided. If you rent this house, bring EVERYTHING you need.

A couple of things I had to call the management company two hours prior to our arrival to gain the access code to the home because my brothers were arriving before me and I was in flight during the 4 o’clock check in time. Are you short term rentals myself And we give the access code three days in advance this way my party or my renters all have as good time to disperse the number to their family in case something comes up when we arrived. The home was very clean a few things that cut our eye there were no spare trash bags so we ended up having to put the trash directly into the barrel instead of in bags. Do you have a four night stay with 12 adults and you don’t give extra trash bags toiletries there were a couple of packs of toiletries in each of the shower bowl bathrooms once again 12 adult nails it was nothing saying that toiletries were not included soap shampoo to dishwasher pods one roll of paper towels no extra toilet paper three rolls were supplied for 12 person adult stay for four days. The math does not work out. The refrigerator was broken would not come up to temperature One free one refrigerator we brought in our own bag of ice which ended up melting in the freezer.
