We recently stayed at the lake house and would give it a 7 out of 10. The location was peaceful and the interior cleanliness was acceptable. A consistent irritant for my husband is the lack of attention to outdoor upkeep, specifically when decks and walkways aren’t cleared, and that was definitely noticeable here.The biggest issue, though, was the ants. They were everywhere...inside the house, outside, and even in our cars parked in the driveway (we brought dozens back to NC with us). We couldn’t enjoy the sun porch at all because sitting on the couch meant being covered in ants. Thankfully, they were just small black ants and not fire ants, but still, they were very committed to being part of our vacation.I texted the rental company about the ant issue at both check-in and check-out and unfortunately received no response. Overall, the house had the basics for a relaxing getaway, but the ant problem definitely impacted our experience.

Relaxing

We had an overall wonderful experience! Just about everything you could want out of a vacation rental. Beautiful plenty of recreational toys, pool table ping-pong table Florida room! There was two drawbacks from our stay one were the ants that were outside. Don’t know why, but there were tons of them only a few were seen in the house, the other thing is there’s no broom or vacuum to clean up behind yourself with. Nevertheless, I would definitely stay here again!

enjoyed our stay at this house! it is just as advertised. perfect layout for a family with teenagers. they enjoyed hanging out and playing ping pong and pool. we rented a pontoon for 4 days and used the dock. the lake is a little low and docking was tricky but manageable. The house was well stocked and we cooked in many nights. Very quiet neighborhood. i would recommend to anyone

The house was wonderful. On a quiet cove, but with deep water. The kayaks were great and it was really close to wonderful open water areas. We came with our two sons and two of their friends and had a great mixture of family, fun and outdoor adventures and peace and tranquility. We Would highly recommend the space. It was perfect with a great downstairs for the teenagers and a beautiful upstairs area for the family to get together and have meals. We would definitely go back! It was the perfect lake house and we have been looking to buy one so we have seen a lot. Thank you for an awesome trip!!!

We were very comfortable with 4 adults and 4 children. The house was clean and had almost everything we needed. The nearest store is 20 minutes away and we didn't think to bring garbage bags, paper towels or toilet paper so that would have been nice to have a bit more stocked. The kitchen is a bit small but manageable. We enjoyed the dock, kayaks, billiards, ping pong and games. There was sugar, spices and a few things that were nice to have on hand. We rented a boat from the nearby marina for one day which was expensive, but worth it. There wasn't much lake traffic even on Memorial Day weekend so we had a really good time and felt very safe. Enjoyed the geese family swimming by, deer and sounds of nature. Would rent there again. Suggest the outdoor garbage cans be sanitized. Quite smelly. The lake water was deep, clean and refreshing. Neighbors were very kind and friendly.

Absolutely beautiful experience! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes water and nature.

I brought 3 friends and two preteen/teen girls for a ladies' retreat. We absolutely loved this house and didn't want to leave!! We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, had bonfires in the great fire pit, relaxed on the deck and porches, and generally enjoyed every part of the house. The neighborhood is very quiet and we felt safe. The kitchen had everything we needed. I only gave 4 stars on cleanliness because there was dog fur on one of the bunk bed comforters that caused my daughter to have a mild allergic reaction. We alerted the property management and they resolved it immediately. The girls enjoyed the pool table and ping pong. We all agreed we would definitely stay in this house again!
