Stayed Jan 18, 2026We had a fabulous day in this beautiful home on North Captiva Island. My husband and I have never been here, and left feeling so relaxed after a week of beauty, good food, isolated beaches, seashell, collecting, stargazing, and golf cart rides. The view from the house looking over the water is stunning. What a beautiful little island to explore! Nathan and Abby were wonderful of giving us all the information we need, attentive to our questions, and everything we could possibly need was in this home. From taking the ferry over to taking the ferry back to the mainland, a wonderful trip was had by all. We thank you so much for this beautiful experience!

Stayed Jan 11, 2026We did not know what to expect when we booked a visit to Isle Escape with our kids and grandkids. The house looked beautiful online, and we were a bit worried about how the grandkids would like the remote location. We LOVED it! The travel to the island does require planning, but very simple and a quick ferry. The house is in an amazing location. Unobstructed views of the Gulf and Sound. A quick walk to visit the manatee canal and Dolphin Beach. Being located right on the airstip magnificent - we saw planes landing and taking off, and even a few helicopters come in during our stay. The house is lovely - decorated well without too many things for the little ones to get into. The bed set up perfect for us as my husband and I could take the top floor bedroom and leave all the kids to the first floor which had bunks and guest rooms. The laundry came in handy during the week for sure. There were chairs for the beach and pool toys for fun as well as games and plenty of space for gathering, dining and watching movies. Plenty of food storage as there are two full refrigerators. The kitchen basics were provided. Definitely do the pre-ordered groceries and plan a little extra. You can fill in during the week, which is easy but takes 24 hours to arrive. There is a very small gift shop on the island with some groceries, but really does not carry much so don't rely on that even for fill in's. The management company left the golf carts at the Mainstay dock for us which was very easy. If you are using Island Girl Ferry - the boat is ok. A much better transit is The Island Club ferry which we used on return. The property recommends Island Girl, but really either are fine to use. We loved the beautiful sunrises and sunsets both visible from the top deck. Comfortable beds and spacious accommodations. We would absolutely recommend this beautiful, convenient property to anyone traveling to North Captiva.

Stayed Jul 5, 2025We recently stayed at this beautiful rental home on North Captiva Island and had a fantastic experience. The management company and owners were incredibly helpful and responsive from start to finish, making the entire stay stress-free. The house itself was perfect for our family getaway — fully stocked with pots, pans, and all the kitchen essentials we needed. It’s also very kid-friendly, which made our trip even more enjoyable. We truly had a wonderful time and would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking to relax and unwind on North Captiva. Looking forward to coming back in the future!

Stayed May 11, 2025The home was absolutely lovely, we enjoyed our time there very much. Our only complaint is the requirement to wash towels before checkout which was pretty inconvenient for a 9:00am check out time. The property management was easy to communicate with, they gave great advice on finding manatees and making sure we made the most of our stay.

Stayed Jul 18, 2024I wish I was the type of person to gatekeep, but alas I am not. The house is beautifully appointed with lots of room to move around. Everything you need is in a cabinet or drawer. Views from the porches are amazing all day long. The porches have ceiling fans so it never got too hot hanging out. Fridges on both floors made it very convenient to have cold adult beverages available, no matter where in the house we were. The big open kitchen was great with seven women all cooking at the same time. Comfy beds and pillows, big bathrooms, ... I could wax poetic all day. The island is beautiful from every vantage point. Friendly, helpful people at every turn. All my friends said this was the perfect vacation and we are planning to return next year. I cannot wait!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We didn't know what to expect upon arrival at North Captiva for our week long stay at Isle Escape. As soon as we docked our boat (btw what a cool way to arrive to a beach house) Sean was there to help us load our belongings onto a trailer and he even had a golf cart waiting for us to drive to the house. The warm salty air as we drove was almost instantly relaxing. As soon as Sean pulled up to the house they started carrying our belongings up the stairs. We had arrived early and they weren't quite done cleaning the house so they stowed our things and we headed to Mangos via golf cart. Our first sip of our key lime colada and grouper bites, our island vacation had begun. But the best part was yet to be seen. When we were able to head back to the house, we climbed the stairs and entered into a luxury beach oasis. The furnishings and amenities were impeccable but the very best part was the jaw dropping view of the Gulf of Mexico. You could see the entire stretch of runway leading out to the calm waters with the sun starting to set on the horizon. It was a magical panoramic view. You could sit and stare for hours from any of the many seating areas in this spaciously comfortable home. Our days consisted of lazing around, watching the waves lap from the back patio, heading down to the beach, a short walk down the road, and cooking dinner in the kitchen while watching the sun set. Overall, this place was nothing short of incredible! Perfectly appointed, spectacular views, wonderful hosts and an amazing view of water, beach, sunrise and sunset with the occasional excitement of a plane taking off or landing in the backyard. We will definitely be back!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Highly recommend Isle Escape!! Our group consisted of 3 families with children ranging from age 5 thru 14. This house had plenty of room for all of us. The kids loved the bunk room. The king bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms were great and the beds were so comfortable. The house is very clean and spacious with a huge kitchen and open floor plan. The kitchen had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the screened in porches in the mornings and the evenings. A huge bonus is that the house comes with 2 4-seater golf carts that worked perfectly! This was our 4th time on the island and the only time we didn't have golf cart issues. We will definitely be back to Isle Escape!!
