Granbury, Texas
This main body water front lake property, with your own 48ft pier to tie up your boats and jet skis. This property is one of the best spots on the lake for paddle boarding and kayaking ,because it is so wide and hardly any boat traffic. The updated Main house is 2 bedroom and 1 bath which sleeps 4 adults and 4 kids with 1 Queen over Queen bunk beds in both rooms which is a total of 4 queen in main house. The view from living room looks like you are on the water. The guest cabin or bunk house also has 2 sets of Queen over Queen bunk beds, which will sleep 4 adults and 4 kids. All of the mattress ,beds and couches were purchased in 2023. The entire property is fenced except for the water side. This location is prime for kayaks, paddle boarding or jet skis. This is located 4.1 miles from downtown and located super close to going up in the river for all the prime water and wake boarding. You can get to all of the lake front restaurants by boat if you want. There are a total of 8 super comfortable foam queen mattress. Lots of good fishing from your private pier and also the HOA pier and boat ramp are next door one house down. There is a paddleboat, one double canoe 6 single kayaks and one double kayak and one canoe at the property, but life jackets must be worn when in use at all times. Adults must supervise kids swimming at all times. There is now a basket ball goal in the water attached to the pier see pictures. Also Wifi included. There is also a fire pit to enjoy out on the pier
So this property needs some major change to make it Vrbo worthy: Not enough pillows for all the beds- some with zero pillows. sheets were not washed prior - hair and clothing tags found in the bed No top sheet for any of the beds Throw blankets had dead bugs in them The inside lock to the bunkhouse was broken so did not lock. No cups, wine opener or coffee. Top bunk is unusable due to ceiling fan 1 foot above bed and all the dust and dirt from ceiling fan was on comforter. Beautiful view of lake though. I tried to communicate these issues with the owner with no apology ever given.
We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, property manager answered my questions promptly, and the views were amazing.. even from the couch! We tried out the paddle boat, which was a blast despite the wind and the fit pit by the water was perfect!
House was very cute
Checkin time was 4 pm but till 5 o’clock we had to struggle to open the door as lock didn’t work, toilet door wont lock, toilet flush wont work, back deck everything was dirty and spider web everywhere and place is not enough for 16 people at it says in listing….. had very bad experience
Had a great time at this property! One thing we thought was a little weird was we never got a message today of telling us how to check in or anything about our arrival time nor did we receive anything about checking out I had to go back through to find the very first email to figure it out.
Great location and cute house. It needs come clean up and maintenance. Lawn needs mowing. Lots of painting and household tools stuffed in cabinets and drawers. Screen on front door is busted. Kitchen cabinet broken, dishwasher is gross inside. Patio chairs broken and propane grill was not usable as the connection was leaking and the grates were disgusting. Disappointed for the cost of the rental didnt feel worth it.
Great layout for having multiple groups/families sleep in one spot. Very clean and lots of amenities. House stocked with plenty of stuff. Paddle boat and kayaks worked and had all parts. Love that it is right on the water! Neighbors very friendly. Only downfall is the yard in between the main house and bunkhouse floods in heavy rain, making going back and forth very wet and sloppy. Also kayaks are stored on the ground, making them very muddy and inhabited by spiders/slugs. Wish they could be hung off the fence on racks. A little elbow grease and hose, and they were fine though.
Cute interior with lots of space for a traveling group. Owner is prompt and friendly with communication.
Cute, shabby chic house on the northern part of Lake Granbury. Dock was perfect for our boat, although getting to the larger part of the lake is a little bit of a challenge due to the trees and driftwood in this part of the lake. Minor complaint was the grass hadn’t been mowed prior to our stay, but house was clean and they’ve done a nice job of having drawers full of the random things you forget on a weekend trip.
If you want quick access to lake granbury and plan to spend the majority of the day on the lake, this is the property for you. boat ramp 2 lots over and private pier were excellent. The property is in a rougher area of town, however the neighbors are families using the house as a 2nd home. Cleaning could have been much better - floors were sticky, found used towels and a lot of trash. overall we had a nice weekend.
