Experience the most beautiful point on Hayden Lake at this classic, mid-century residence, the beloved lake home of the late Bing Crosby. With over 450 feet of lakefront views, a private dock with a boat slip, and a wrap-around patio overlooking the lake and mountains, this is a Hayden escape like no other.
This 1950s home, now owned by Crosby's grandchildren, is full of its original charm, from the vintage furnishings to the curtains inscribed with the lyrics of 'Going My Way.' Walking inside is like taking a step back in time, but with air conditioning, a washer/dryer, and other modern conveniences to greet you.
The living space is all on one level, with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame Hayden Lake, wood-paneled walls, and interesting details of natural-log beams. In this space, you can play card games overlooking the lake, gather for family meals at the dining table, and tell stories around the fireplace at night. The kitchen is just around the corner, offering both vintage and updated appliances and plentiful cabinet storage.
When you're not exploring nearby Coeur d'Alene or Silverwood Theme Park, you'll have your own private dock where you can swim, launch kayaks, or set sail in your personal craft or one rented from the Hayden Lake Marina across the water (which will deliver right to the dock). At day's end, you can dine and watch the sunset on the wrap-around patio before retiring to one of four bedrooms. Three of the bedrooms are in one wing of the main house, while the fourth bedroom and one full bathroom are across a breezeway in separate, private guest quarters.

We had a great time. The property is full of history and very quaint. It is located near town with easy parking for up to 3 vehicles. It looks west over the lake towards Honeysuckle beach and marina. The property and dock are aging, but still in reasonable shape. We will definitely be back.
