Excellent stay- great location, comfy beds, safe and secure yard - great communication from the hosts as well.

We had a wonderful stay at McKay Getaway for our visit to our daughter in Bend. The house is lovely and rooms are actually larger than they look in the pictures. The house is very comfortable, is well equipped and immaculately maintained. Aubrey was a great host, responded promptly to the few questions I had. Great location, quiet neighborhood, close to the park, great for walking. Highly recommend!

Very cute house in an ideal location for accessing the river and local eats. Yard and garage with paddle boards and tubes was so nice for us and the kids. A few repairs and deep cleaning were needed but overall we had a great experience!

This was our 4th stay in Old Town Bend, and this was the nicest house we've stayed in. The decor is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and the front porch and rear enclosed patio provide pleasant places to hang out. As others have said, the photos don't do it justice. Aubrey and Matt are great hosts.

We loved our stay at Mckay Getaway. The house is well appointed, spacious, and walking distance to many great restaurants and the Deschutes for river walks. Our dog enjoyed exploring the fenced in yard. We’d stay here again!

This was the second time an old friend and I stayed at the house, and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. It's very comfortable and well maintained, and it was a great home base for our daily trips up to Mt. Bachelor. The location is pretty ideal; it's an easy walk to downtown Bend with all of its restaurants and shops. We look forward to coming back again for another visit.

One of the cleanest and well appointed places we have rented. The location is wonderful. Easy walking through beautiful Drakes park to downtown. Absolutely will stay again!

What a lovely home! This quiet abode far surpassed our expectations. It is located on a quiet street, yet an easy walk to the river, downtown and local eateries/breweries. The home appears to be completely renovated and beautifully decorated with such attention to details that it felt both welcoming and luxurious. It was a perfect place to relax after busy days enjoying the many outdoor activities of Bend. The outdoor patio made for quiet mornings drinking coffee and evenings sipping wine with our furry friend. We have stayed in many VRBO's. McKay's Getaway was a favorite for our whole family. It had all the comforts for us and our fourteen year olds, yet it would have been equally beautiful and charming for families with small children or as an adult getaway. It had the amenities and luxuries of a five star hotel with the practicality and ambiance of a home. We hope to return but stay for longer in the future. -Cally, Craig, Bryn and Harper
