The host was excellent and thoughtful making sure we had everything we needed. The house is beautiful and very clean. Wonderful view right on the beach. Nice outdoor sitting area on the dunes overlooking the beach. Upstairs with two bedrooms and 2&1/2 bathrooms was very nice for the two single people while the downstairs with 2 bedrooms and a full bath worked out great for a family with young children. 6 TV’s in this house!! Loved our stay here.

Great place, terrific location, good facilities. Didn't particularly like the management company -- confining us to no more than 5 people and three cars, when we were renting a place advertized to sleep 12. Plus no hot water when we arrived, which was quickly resolved, so they are on the job, just kind of preemptive and unpleasant. Also couldn't figure out how to use the Raku TV though they said to call if we needed help. I didn't feel like calling them to get talked through a technical issue, so we just didn't watch the movies we were planning to stream. Got the sense that they were trying to make their jobs easier rather than making our stay more pleasant.

With stunning views and direct access to a pristine Beach, this property was just right for us

The location of the house was amazing! The size was perfect. We had a really nice stay! However, it is a pricy property so for this price, my recommendations for the house include1. The washing machine is in need of replacement. The mildew smell coming from the laundry room permeated the entire downstairs so that was unfortunate. 2. The frying pans had burnt on grease. All they need is a good scrub so that the guest is not required to do it.3. The upstairs does not get a lot of ventilation so it gets very hot from 3-6. The fan in the window does not work. I recommend getting overhead fans as well as shades in the kitchen area to block out the direct sunlight. It is difficult to be putting a full meal together in the direct sun and heat. 4. The property manager was rude. The owner of the house should know this. We grew up going to Pajaro. My parents used Holtzman and Daw for 2 decades and never had an issue. I had reasonable questions and she came back on fire! I get that she has run into high maintenance renters with nefarious intentions however she shouldn’t assume all renters are like that. She needs to read the request/ comment, take a beat, and then respond. She is in hospitality but certainly doesn’t make you feel like you can request something without a diatribe response. I’d be happy to provide additional details if you’d like. Overall we had a great time. It was just unfortunate that my blood pressure had to spike during these comms with the property mgr.

Absolutely fabulous stay! Gorgeous home, unbelievable view. The communication with Stacy , the manager, was excellent. We will definitely go there again.

Great house in a beautiful area. Excellent communication with Stacey at Best of the Dunes and everything from check in to check out was smooth. Listing is very accurate with plenty of info so there are no surprises.

Loved the house. 6 adults, 3 kids under 12, 1 teen (14), and 1 infant. The great room accommodated all of us very comfortably. Fabulous view and sunsets. House sits up high, access to beach a short board walk away. There are stairs in the house and to the beach, that would be a challenge for some, so needs to be considered. Well stocked with basic kitchen needs. Pickle ball, tennis courts are very nice but not close to house. We enjoyed our family get together very much.

We had a great long weekend away at the beach. The house is roomy, views of the ocean are amazing with beach access very close. A great kitchen to cook and entertain with comfortable seating in the family room. The only negative was the power went out one evening but we made do. A couple areas to improve are the bed mattress and the outdoor area.

Absolutely loved our stay in Pajaro Dunes – we went for a few days over the new year. Up on the bluff overlooking the bay, the spacious main room had a wall of windows with a spectacular view of the water. We had originally planned a couple of day trips (maybe Monterey, redwoods), but loved the place and wound up staying on-property the entire time. Very well-equipped kitchen, great space for lounging with a large TV, big table for meals and playing games, great outdoor seating on the porch and the bluff. The ping-pong table was a huge hit, it got quite a workout (there's a pool table underneath that never saw the light of day ). Plus nothing beats falling asleep and waking up to the crashing surf.You walk over a couple of houses for the stairway down to the long beach. We walked about 10 min. down the road to the pickleball and tennis courts, which look fairly new. Wifi was strong, we logged into our streaming accounts on the TV. The house was spotless, check-in was a breeze with a lockbox near the front door. Have to mention the heated Toto 'bidet' toilet seats in the two upstairs bedrooms were a big hit.The property manager, Stacey was incredibly responsive and knowledgeable about the area, had some great tips, answered a number of questions before we booked.All in all, a wonderful spot for a family trip.

House is nice and large, very nice floor plan, had a lot of games and equipment we could use. Loved the location with it being right on the beach! Some spectacular views when it wasn't foggy :) Communication was great as well! Any questions we had were answered right away!

Wonderful location. Mostly excellent, but in some need of maintenance, showing signs of weathering.

Our family 10 altogether, 6 adults and 4 children like to explore the California coast on our three day weekends. We chose Pura Vida because the accommodations suited us. The house has a fabulous view of the beach. It was also easy for us to get down to the beach as there were stairs all the way down. The beach itself was beautiful and uncrowded. The kids had a blast. We all had a wonderful time. The house had a ping pong table set u which kept the kids entertained during down time. The common spaces could accommodate all of us easily.

The house was awesome- couldn't have asked for anything more.
