Been coming here for years. New owner has cleaned up the space and made sure each area is air conditioned. I wish the sink in the kitchen had a pull down sprayer to all 3 tubs could be utilized. All in all this is a great place for a large party.

The house is great! Plenty of room for everyone, clean, and great fishing. Our family had a great weekend.

We’re with Kids outdoor zone and ended up having 6 boys and 6 men (leaders). We had plenty of room. Great spot on the river with nice dock and fishing light. Very clean and very nice kitchen stocked with the right stuff for cooking on a trip like that. Made it an awesome trip. Especially after surf fishing all day it was great to come back to and rest comfortably.

We had a wonderful time at the Lodge. There was enough beds and space for everyone. We even caught a few fish. This place is a wonderful place to stay when traveling with a large group.

I was excited to see it listed since we stayed back in 2017. However, I'm disappointed in the shape of the house and the cleanliness. While the host was quick to respond, I had to reach out the day before the trip to get the check-in instructions which was a first. He did allow us to check-in an hour early. You could tell the house was recently painted, I'm assuming from damage caused by hurricane Beryl, because there was a used paint brush shoved behind the couch cushion, one of the comforters was stuck to the wall from paint, and painters tape left on the wall in one of the bathrooms. The towel holders weren't put back on the wall properly in one of the bathrooms. The toilets were loose and would move when sat on. There were one or two holes in the walls as well. The mattresses and pillows need to be updated. Quite a few of the pillows has huge brown stains on them and were musty. More than one of us woke up in pain from the metal bar of the bed frame as there is no box spring under the thin mattresses. The foam topper did nothing to help. There were dead bugs throughout the house when we arrived, which isn't unusual, but significantly more than the other houses we've stayed at. A bedroom door had what looked like dried blood on the back with other stains. There were hairs left in the shower. And the wall unit that blows directly over the stove was disgusting. Overall, the house is great for large groups. However, the upkeep needs some improvement.

We used to stay in this house before it belonged to the new owners, and haven't been back for other reasons. But we decided to host our company trip here since it's large enough to accomodate our small business. I was skeptical because I saw all of the stainless commercial appliances were removed and that was one of my favorite features.. but we had a great time. The charcoal grill was in great condition, we had enough room to park the boats, and there's plenty of utensils for cooking in kitchen. The owner of the property even let us in early on our check-in day without any hesitation. And with spot coolers in just about every room of the house, no one went to bed hot! This is a big deal to us since we are an HVAC company and don't like to sweat when we don't have to! hah I'm glad to see the house is being rented by such a great crew. Thank you for the awesome time.

Stayed here previously. We like that it is not too far to grocery store and bait shop. Also, you can walk out the back door and you are right

13 guys stayed here on a fishing trip - have had 16 in prior years without sharing beds. Fishing guides come to the dock making for an easy fishing trip. Close to area restaurants and bars. Owner was accessible for questions during our stay. We'll be back.
