Massachusetts Abode w/ Deck & Grill: Near Beaches!

The property was clean and comfortable. The location was great.

We come to fish tuna. This year the hurricanes caused charters to be shut down for days. We messaged the property manager requesting to roll our dates later and received no response. We reached out again on the day of check in and were told because it was the day of…could not make changes. We asked about refund of cleaning fee because we were not using the property and were told they would check into it. Understood then we were dealing with third party property management company and not the owner. Once I got his information and contacted him he was very understanding and at least agreed to refund our cleaning fee. For this reason I’m giving three stars. The communication with the property management company was horrible and they were not helpful just trying to maximize their management fees. It’s truly a shame when you book on VRBO expecting to deal with real owners and you get third party managers. I will be more careful in the future.

We had a fabulous stay we were close to Salem as well as site seeing in Gloucester. Antonio is a wonderful host. We would definitely stay there again in the future if we visit Salem again.

Our stay was great ! The place was clean and welcoming. I loved that we could sit outside and relax. The caretaker was great,she checked if we needed anything and was very accommodating if we did. Would definitely recommend this place. It was close to great restaurants ,shopping and close to the water!

We were allowed to park vehicle on property to enjoy the day at the beach until check in. Saving us from getting a beach pass.The location is awesome. We walked everywhere. Can’t wait to go back next year.

the house was clean and well supplied, but it was in a regular suburban neighborhood area with a tiny area for outside sitting.walk to nearest beach (which I questioned when booking) was a 15 minute walk (was told it would be an 8 minute walk). this was a town beach without any amenities.

Everything is very clean and nice. The walk to the beautiful beach is a very manageable 8 minutes or so. The caretaker Rose was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The only thing worth mentioning wasn't a problem for us at all but might be worth knowing for persons with mobility issues. The transitions between the different rooms/floors are a little higher than typical, so you had to be aware not to trip when walking around. The stairs to the master bedroom also requires you to make big steps, or go down sideways. Again, not an issue for us at all, but if you're in a wheelchair or walker, it could be a little difficult navigating your way around. Overall, we liked the place and enjoyed our time at Good Harbor Beach

Our family spent the weekend here. Close to shopping center and a nice coffee shop with excellent breakfast, within walking distance. Close to airport, about an hour drive. The home is as pictured, didn't disappoint. Very clean, everything you would need was there. Would definitely rent again. We stayed Thurs thru Sunday.

This was a great little property! Super close walk to the beach and the host was really accommodating and a great communicator. We even had a small issue and he came and dropped off a gift card for us to a local Cafe! Would recommend!

Our daughter and friend wanted to see The ocean and go to museums in Massachusetts for Spring Break. The place was wonderful and was perfect for what we needed.We would choose it again if we will be in the area The house was neat, clean and many amenities for the area.

My husband, sister, and brother in law and I stayed here for 3 nights and were very pleased. The house was cozy and in a peaceful neighborhood. We loved staying here however the water does take a while to heat up and the shower water pressure was very low. Minor details but overall recommended.

The place is very cute and clean, great quiet lil neighborhood.

Everything was perfect except. It gets so bright in the morning because there’s only blinds in the bedrooms. There’s no curtains on the bright side. It help us wake up and get out the door early but on the bedside on vacation, I like to sleep in but other than that.

Nice long weekend in the Gloucester area. Our place was set up nicely for two couples. The AC unit in the larger bedroom was quite loud (and would cause the bedroom light to flicker every few seconds when they were both turned on), but it was nice to have to keep the room cool. The travel guides and maps were very helpful as we explored and navigated around Gloucester, Rockport, and greater Cape Ann!

We really enjoyed this location. A/C was cold, shower had good pressure, and got very hot, but slow to warm up. Appreciated the washer/dryer, and kitchen. We also appreciate the provided beach chairs and wagon. (Really wish there was a beach umbrella. Maybe next time). Quiet neighborhood, short walk to coffee and two grocery chains. And one is adding electric car charging which will make Electric vehicle rentals much easier. Overall, this was a great stay, and I’d rent again.

Property was very clean and private , quiet residential neighborhood , close to beach . Perfect location for our 3 night stay for my girlfriend and I . Host Tony and his wife Maria were very friendly and although new to hosting I am sure will be getting be super host designation in no time ! They and had many great suggestions for dining and very familiar with area . Our favorite was a great breakfast /lunch bakery in downtown Glouster at a place they recommended called The Source great coffee and all pastries quiche from scratch baked on premises, I had not been to area in 40 years and this location was perfect to travel to nearby towns , Rockport , Salem , Marblehead ,,,,, will definitely rebook if back in area , There is one step to 2nd bedroom and when I mentioned to improve access a handrail would be a good idea Tony installed it within hours of my suggestion.... Thanks for your hospitality !

We had a great time staying at 3 Cabo Drive. It was spacious, very clean and comfortable, super quiet and close to Good Harbor Beach. The air con was very welcome and the deck was a lovely place to sit and enjoy a drink. There is an excellent supermarket just round the corner. Tony and Maria were friendly, responsive and generous hosts, and we would happily stay here again if we come back to Gloucester.

The house was just as advertised. Easy to find, easy to get into, owner brought various supplies, great location. We would definitely stay again.
