Marty's Retreat 1 block to downtown Overland Park

Marty's Retreat was a very comfortable place to stay for 6 nights while we were visiting relatives. The hosts were easy to communicate with. We loved walking to the shops and restaurants just a few blocks away. Be sure to check out the Farmer's Market in season---friendly farmers and fresh, local food.

The house was clean and comfortable with memory foam mattresses. The location was good, close to shops and restaurants. The WiFi worked well and the 2 TVs were a nice touch. In addition to the 2 bedrooms there was an office space with a desk where we were able to work. The hosts were quick to answer any of our questions.

Nice little place to stay when we were visiting overland Park. Highly recommend.

The host was great about checking in to see if everthing was as we expected. It’s such a great neighborhood with many restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance.

Home was located in a nice neighborhood and walking distance to downtown shopping area. Cute small town shops and restaurants. Short (25 minute) drive to downtown KC. Host was very quick to respond to any questions we had. It was enjoyable stay and would consider returning when in the area.

Host is great! House is nice and conveniently located. Ceiling fan in back bedroom was very loud and kept me awake. I was too hot to sleep without it on. No kitchen linens. Small things but otherwise we were quite happy with our stay and will choose this location again.

Cute house! Very comfortable space and good beds. Great location for walking to downtown Overland Park. Had a fun KC weekend!

Quiet neighborhood but close to many stores and restaurants. Charming home, clean, great shower with nice sized towels, comfy beds and was equipped with many other amenities. Steve, the host was very responsive with any questions we had. Will definitely return when in KC.

The house was in a perfect location for walking to restaurants and the farmer’s market in Overland Park. It had all the amenities we needed and more than enough room for two people.

The best thing was the bed and pillows were comfortable. I slept great all 3 nights. And that I could get Apple TV.

My wife and I were in town for business. We wanted a place close to downtown Overland Park and with easy access to the airport. This house was perfect. A quick 30 minute drive to airport and downtown was a few minutes walk away. We also used this location to drive around Johnson County looking for permanent housing for our future move to the area. Everything was as explained, we will stay again!!!!

Booking was easy. The communication was great. Appreciate that they checked in with us when we first arrived. This place is in a great little community with lots to offer. Great restaurant, coffee and gelato all within walking distance. High recommend this home!

Cozy home with 2 bedrooms sharing a common bathroom. Worked well for two couples. We had a car to travel to see family and go to the local grocery store for supplies.

Close enough to walk to grab a bite. The Farmers market was going while we were there so that was fun to walk around and check out. Went as a group of four. House was perfect.

We loved everything about this house. It was clean, comfortable, conveniently located, and in a beautiful neighborhood perfect for long walks. We highly recommend it.

Should inform about the Jack and Jill bathroom. Saw sign that said Basement for emergencies purposes but washer & dryer are downstairs. But overall, location is great when attending conference center & with lots of restaurants nearby to chose from. Thank you again!

The location is great. We were unable to get into the garage to use the washer/dryer or the gas gril. These are clearly listed as available.

Sharing this house with a small group was so much cheaper and more convenient than booking multiple hotel rooms. It was in a great location for us to get where we needed and the check in process was very easy. It was clean, well prepared for guests, and we appreciate all the thought that went into hosting!

My husband and I enjoyed are stay at Marty house. Easy walk to downtown Overland Park, there are shops, restaurants and coffee shops. The house is on a quiet street and felt very safe. Would stay there again.

Totally deserving of five stars across the board. It served our purposes (visiting family in Overland Park) perfectly.
