Mariposa at Academy Place

Newer property. Roomy. Clean. Great amenities. Walkable to downtown shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Everything was as advertised. We had a party of 6 and an infant for 5 nights. The kitchen was fully stocked with all cooking items needed and nice GE Monogram appliances. The primary bedroom was upstairs with 2 guest bedrooms in the basement. We had one maintenance issue that was minor but addressed promptly. The only other issue I had was the primary bed was very uncomfortable. I realize this is a personal preference but it did affect my sleep. Everything else was great and we would definitely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As a former homeowner in Crested Butte, I can confidently say that this is one of the best options for an in-town stay. It’s new, beautifully appointed yet livable (we had 4 grandkids visit). The home is well equipped with top of line appliances, a fully stocked kitchen and top of the line linens. The beds are heavenly too! The location is a 5 min walk to Elk Ave. The management lives on property and responds to any request immediately.

I would give it 5 stars but we couldn’t sleep in upper bedroomBecause of the street noise. The upper room needs ac so you don’t have to open windows. We will definitely return and hope the AC is installed upstairs. We enjoyed cooking and the steam shower.

The only downside was it stayed pretty warm in the condo the entire time, particularly the top story bedroom. We left the windows open at night, but the days were so warm, it was super hard to get it cooled down. There were extra fans that were provided that did help. All that to be said, we would stay here again...we had a great experience!

It was beautifully decorated with with high end bedding, towels, kitchen ware, etc. We can't wait to return! We could also walk to everything in town witch made it very convenient.

This was our 2nd time visiting CB and wanted to stay in town considering we’d be hiking and biking in nature during the day. Location was super convenient as we didn’t need to drive to go to restaurants. The cottage was well designed and beautifully furnished. Property manager was very accessible and reached out periodically to see if we needed anything. 5 star accommodation for CB and a great option for a week stay. We would recommend Academy Place and would stay again.
