    Unfortunately the pool was not heated. We tried to use it but it was just too cold. It is Winter after all. Not a big deal. Enjoyed the house.

    The house was spacious and clean. Location was great as well. Short ride to beach, restaurants, shopping, and Goodland. Would definitely recommend this home!

    The house has a private master bedroom on one side, and three bedrooms on the other. Sleeps at least 8. Could easily be two families and still have privacy for the adults as the 3BR side has a two rooms with queen beds; 3rd room has two singles. Bathrooms are very nice and roomy and the bedrooms all have case goods to store your clothes if you don't like to live out of suitcases. Room for two cars in the driveway. Only 1.7 miles to Goodland Boat Launch for all the shell hunting tours (and fishing too!). Only five minutes to the island public beach -- get there early for parking. Master bedroom and second bathroom both have doors to the lanai and pool, so the layout is good for controlling pool access if you have toddlers. Kitchen has everything you need to cook full meals, and there were plenty of towels, including beach towels, for everyone. Beach chairs and floats are available in the garage. Publix grocery store is just down the street at the big intersection, along with a liquor store and a Dollar Tree. Map out the other Publix on the island and find LOTS of restaurants. Be sure to go to The Island Gypsy restaurant on the water (Isles of Capri) right off Collier Blvd. Marco is full of sidewalks so it's a great place for your morning walk or run, or to push a stroller to safely enjoy the sea breeze. This rental has everything you need in a convenient spot -- 15 minutes to Wal-Mart on Collier as soon as you hit the mainland.
