Marco Island Family Home: Pool, Lanai, Backyard!

The home was in a very nice location. We were able to rent bikes close by and downtown was within walking/biking distance.The home was in good shape. It had WiFi, patio chairs, operational washer and dryer, linens, towels, soap, paper towels and TP if you forgot or have not been to the store yet.The bikes in the garage were available but needed some chain maintenance and a tuneup to be ready to really ride any distance. There were many helmets for you and your family safety.The weather was cooler than we would have liked but the furnace heat worked in the home and kept the house comfortable. We were not able to use the A/C but if was like everything else, it would work properly.We would stay again if the host was happy with us and the condition we left their home.

While staying here I couldn’t get in my first day, the cleaning crew didn’t show up until the morning after we arrived, meaning we had to spend the entire first night of our vacation doing laundry so we could have a place to sleep, and doing dishes, and taking out someone else’s trash etc. communication during this time was beyond poor. Non responsive to messages, texts, emails, etc. VRBO eventually had to reach out to help me get in contact with them. They also had a company come out and spray insecticides while my children were playing outside. The workers spraying the chemicals were wearing chemical respirators (with the pink n-95 chemical filter. The cleaners, after they showed up unannounced the first morning assured us they would lock up the house when they were done (we had to leave so they could clean, packing up and having to leave the property unplanned was not fun or wanted) when we returned all doors were unlocked and the garage door was wide open. They also refused to communicate through VRBO app (I believe to avoid responsibility)I tried VERY hard to work out something between myself and evolve to hopefully avoid writing this review. I strongly believe in second chances and giving people the chance to make things right. However, after weeks of emails and explaining my situation, I do not believe evolve was acting in good faith to resolve anything or provide any amount close to adequate compensation (MUCH less than 1 night worth of the 6 nights stay)

Beautiful home in a great neighborhood. Convenient location. House was clean and we had everything we needed. Would stay again!

Perfect house for our family of six. Great location and amenities.

Our checkin time was 4pm, and we arrived at 6. However the door code did not work nor did the property owner respond to texts or calls. The owner did not contact us until after midnight to let us know that he JUST THEN set the code. He didn't apologize or anything. We had to find a motel for the night because we were stranded 8 hours away from home with nowhere to go. I atill have yet to receive a reimbursement for our motel stay and first night's stay. The house is beautiful and has all the amenities you could need, but this experience left a sour taste and I do not recommend booking this house.

House was great, plenty of room for all of us. My only complaint is there were tiny ants in the kitchen and noticed them in one of the upstairs bathrooms. They were on everything in the kitchen, on the island. Did notice there were ant baits under the kitchen sink and in the garage. Also, although not a huge problem for us, i was under the impression that you could walk out to the dock to see the canal.You could only see a small area of it from the top deck, everything was blocked off and could not walk out to the canal on the dock. Pool was a little on the small side, but it was ok for our family. Overall, we loved our stay!

The location is amazing. It is proximal to the snook inn and rose marina in a quiet neighborhood. However, there is no dock access as shown in the pictures or ocean front views. It is a corner property that doesn’t reside on the ocean. When we arrived there were a few things that were in need of repair. The communication with the property manager was great.

Large house with plenty of space to spread out. The house was clean. Slight hiccup at check-in as the door code was not set to the numbers they said it was, but I was able to get in touch with the property contact right away and get the correct info. The description listing it as canal front is a bit generous, you can peak between the neighboring properties to see the canal and see their docks, but this house is not really on the canal. The photo captioned canal view is taken from the neighbor's sidewalk and not from this property. The description does accurately state there is no dock access, but what that means is that you cannot even go next to the canal as this house itself does not have a dock. Overall the positives definitely outweigh the negatives at this property and it is a very nice space for the price. The included beach accessories where a very nice feature.

Comfortable for large groups

House was perfect, we didn’t even use all of the rooms, easily could have fit 3-4 more people along with my family of 5. Great location and having the pool in the late afternoon was perfect after a long day at the beach for swimming round 2.

We enjoyed the house very much. Plenty of space and well equipped. With all previous homes I’ve rented I’ve had direct communication with the owner. This house was different and had to go through a management company. Didn’t love that. Was told we needed beach towels (through management co) but they were provided. Drip coffee maker was nowhere to be found and it took going back and forth (with management co) and was eventually told to reach out to owner (it was found in a bedroom closet). That being said, I would still recommend this house. Bikes, beach chairs, coolers and so much more!

The home is comfortable and well appointed. We reached out to the owner with a few questions and he responded right away. It was a great place to stay.

Home/location had everything we needed for a fun & relaxing stay. Biked to Tigertail & ate at LeeBe Fish a couple of times. Had burgers on the grill, a family movie night on large living room tv & some intense ping pong matches. Thanks for sharing your home!

The house was perfect for myself and my 4 girlfriends. Couldn’t have asked for anything better.
