Beautiful apartment! The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient for the trains but it's not the nicest neighborhood. The washing machine was much nicer than I've used in other vrbo apartments in Italy, so that was a bonus. It has a piano but it's not playable because it's so badly out of tune. The wifi is very fast! Overall 4.5 stars rounded up to 5. I would definitely stay again when traveling with family or friends.

The hosts were extremely attentive and helpful. They met us at the unit and made sure we were settled in and comfortable. They even checked in with us throughout our stay and provided restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. The unit was very clean and comfortable. We had very easy access to the hop on hop off sightseeing bus as well as the metro, making navigating the city very easy. We will definitely stay here again when we find ourselves back in Naples!

If you want an immaculately clean, eccentric, history filled home with high ceilings, with a good kitchen and bathroom, located right opposite the train station from which you can pay 2.60 euros to get to Herculaneum, this is the place for you. The couple who run it are wonderful, kind and helpful. The apartment is secure and the air con in the bedrooms, efficient. It's located on the edge of the old town and only a 15 minute walk from the famous Caravaggio painting, The Seven Acts of Mercy.

This property is conveniently located with a short walk from the Napali Centrale train station. The apartment has the feeling of staying in a hotel suite with its soaring ceilings, gold leaf accents on the moldings, and luxuriously large French door windows which open out onto small balconies. Federico and Vittoria are gracious hosts and help you feel right at home in Napoli.

The location was conveniently located for the station but I found the area a bit edgy. Nothing happened to us but I felt uncomfortable in some of the surrounding streets.

Marchese is a spacious apartment situated on a busy thoroughfare. The apartment is spacious with great character and it is conveniently located close to major trains, buses and trams stations. It was exceptionally clean with very comfortable beds and linen. The apartment is on the second floor of the building so it is handy to have a lift. Marchese is not located in a tourist area providing guests with the opportunity to observe working class and every life in Napoli, including street markets. Hosts Vittoria and Frederico were excellent hosts, very welcoming and extremely helpful and were more than willing to come by and fix any problems that may occur. Frederico was very helpful on our departure. He ordered us a taxi, waited with us until it arrived and helped us with the luggage. We would highly recommend Marchese.

This was a terrific place to spend 2 weeks in Naples. Federico and Vittoria are excellent hosts and the apartment is really palatial in the best Neaploitan sense. Everything you see in the property description and the photos are all true. Better, in fact, when you are actually there. The next time I go to Naples (and there will be another trip) I hope to be lucky enough to stay here again.

Our wonderful hosts, Vitti & Federico, welcomed us so warmly to their beautiful apartment that we felt instantly at home. As well as being spacious and stylish, the apartment is very conveniently located so it's very easy to get around to all the sights and to great eateries & shops. We enjoyed a wonderful stay and very highly recommend the Marquis of Naples

We had planned a 10 day visit to Napoli after our cruise. We were a little apprehensive at first but Federico & Vittoria were so helpful and made our side trip a success. They greeted us at the door, helped us settle in and provided some great eating and visiting suggestions. During our stay they responded to our needs quickly. Their facility is a great location with access to bus/train/airport. Our apartment was clean and well equipped - everything one needs. We would strongly recommend this location if you want a wonderful stay in Napoli! Thx again for making our stay a success!

Fantastic location - very easy to find and the place had heaps of character and was clean with all the amenities you could need. Hosts were very communicative and welcoming. Highly recommend if looking for somewhere central in Naples as close to station if you are wanting to take day trips.

If Naples is your HQ for seeing tutti scavi: Pompei, Ercolano, Baia etc by public transit (to avoid the terrors of driving in Naples) this apartment across from the station is perfet The hosts are delightful; you can speak Italian with Frederico and Vittoria speaks English too so there's always someone with whom you can communicate. They have good suggestions like getting your cappuccino and sfogliatelle from Granato downstairs. They can also explain how to get to various locations in the region. They apartment itself isn't fancy, but it also isn't one of those VRBOs that looks like it was decorated by a rental company. Instead, every day you discover some new quirky antique item. For example, not is there a vintage Olivetti typewriter, there's actually a vintage Olivetti adding machine as well! But in the kitchen, it's all very functional, so don't worry that the stove is an antique. (I did once have to figure out an antique stove in a VRBO!) The fridge works, the stove works, the washing machine works, and there are at least 3 sizes of volcano coffee makers. The bathroom is fine and the shower works. The bed is comfy but could use a couple more pillows. The neighborhood is gritty. If you are a city person, used to SF and NY it won't freak you out. Da Donato around the corner is both a lovely trattoria for a special meal and a place to pick up a delicious pizza. Try Naples' famous pizza fritta at La Masardona a few blocks away. Grazie mille Frederico & Vittoria!

A stunning property with lots of space. We loved the atmosphere of the home. Federico and Vittoria were incredible hosts, helpful and very welcoming. The place is very close to the station / metro to get around the city and elsewhere. Felt like we were in a palace and we loved playing the piano at night.
