Not sure where to begin. It’s not allowing me to upload pictures otherwise I would. I have to start by saying that the management company was fine. They were responsive, but not necessarily helpful. Let’s start with how dirty the place is. Walk in your white socks and they will be brown very shortly. The couches are stained. They’re gross. There were cracked mugs and glasses and old strawberries in the fridge that were not cleaned out. The hairdryer didn’t work and so we had to go buy a new one. The refrigerator water and ice did not work and leaks when you open the fridge there were cobwebs and spiderwebs everywhere on the front porch and two huge spiders. They were scratches and marks on the paint throughout the house. The chairs in the backyard had all the fabric coming out so only a couple were usable. The headboard in the master bedroom had graffiti on. It, edged into the headboard. The beds were super uncomfortable and gave my wife a backache. Everybody wanted to move to a hotel after the second night. I really could go on and on and I’m not trying to be vindictive here because the property management company was responsive. In fact, this is the first negative review I’ve ever written. I just don’t want anybody else to spend the money and have a horrible experience like we did.
This house is not well insulated and gets too hot all day long as well as noisy. HVAC was cruelly missing. It was not clean at all in particular the bathrooms. The fridge is faulty and the motor makes a defeaning noise from time to time. I sent an email to the management, Marbella Lane, but apart saying turn it off, turn it on, they did not help. The furniture is not in good condition though. Many plastic toys and garbage in the backyard. Still there after 5 weeks. For more than $13,000 for 5 weeks, I would have expected much better condition and service. Marbella Lane just lost one customer (it was my second time with them). Just a shame!
