Mansion in the heart of the historic center

The flat was located in the perfect location to explore all that Olhâo has to offer. Everything you could possibly need was within easy walking distance. Fabienne, HP and Maria were available to answer any questions we had. Lovely people with a lovely flat. Would definitely go back next time we’re in the area.

Lovely home with great character in the centre of the old town.Great location to restaurants, supermarket the harbour with 2 big markets restaurants.

It has been beautifully restored by the skilful owners, with generous rooms. We were met by a very helpful friend of the owners, who showed us round the property, and offered recommendations and explained how everything worked. She was available to answer questions, and she and the owners were keen to ensure all was well throughout our stay. The place is very well equipped and was spotlessly clean. There is a great deal of outside space for relaxing, including BBQ facilities. Everything one needs is close by, with superb restaurants and well-stocked supermarkets. I would highly recommended this property

Beautiful home and fantastic service from property manager

What a beautiful home. From the exquisitely carved front door to the extraordinary outdoor space, this flat provided everything we needed, along with some things we didn’t even know we’d want. The beautiful, big outdoor awning to provide shade during the hotter parts of the day was one of those things! We have traveled to other European cities and we usually rent a flat for a few weeks. However, none have been completely furnished, well laid out floor plan, and provided as good a kitchen, modern bathrooms and showers, a really good washing machine, and lovely bedrooms and living areas. The combination of the age of the building (quite old I’m sure) with the updated conveniences was perfect. The faux marbled walls are beautiful! Two bathrooms are an excellent advantage. The location is ideal! Steps away from the waterfront, The Pingo Doce Grocery Store as well as the markets made for ease of shopping. And ice cream treats daily. Maria, the house caretaker, is amazing. Never loses her cool, can’t help enough, and she knows the area so well we could count on her for any questions, recommendations, and being a good friend. We fell in love with Olhão, the charm of the village, and we are already planning our next visit to the house.

Perfect for relaxation time with two beautiful terraces and nice indoor facilities. Extremely responsive host and local host, Maria, who gave us much useful information.

Loved the location and the pedestrian walk away. Lots of great restaurants around only negative i have is the futon mattress in the small room was extremely uncomfortable. I would stay there again though with less people so I didn’t have to use that room. There was 2 couples and myself as a solo

This is the best property we have stayed in with VRBO. The apartment was magnificent, beautifully furnished, and of wonderful quality. The rooms were large and elegant. The kitchen was well stocked and electrical equipment all as new. The outside spaces and roof terrace were perfect. The position in the old town was just right. Quiet evenings and bustling with locals during the day. The manager was very helpful and always available. Thank you Fabienne. Nick and Siân.

The apartment is located in the center of the Olhauo old town, very close to the market, harbor and many restaurants. The area around the aparment was clean and safe. The house was very well kept and beautifully renovated with an eye for nice details. The two bathrooms were modern and very clean. The large kitchen is very well kept and provides the possibility to prepare meals. The beds were comfortable. The two terraces were set up nicely with places to sit and enjoy the nice view of the city. Our contact Henri was very nice and was available for any needs we had. We had a great time and hope to be able to go back for a visit one day.
